This mascara is decent. If you have the extra $10 to spend over the average price of a drugstore mascara this may be worth it. It has a plastic bristled brush & although it separates each lash and gives a bit of volume it is not spectacular. I noticed that it smears quite heavily by the end of the day & doesn't hold a curl for more than a few hours. Its not the best or the worst mascara, but I don't believe its worth the price, especially when there are much better options from L'oreal or Maybelline.

Yes, it's more expensive than pharmacies brand. But it's way more effective. When I travel, it's the only makeup I bring, it give my eyes that OMPH I need. My only concern is that it's not waterproof. Beside that, it's the perfect mascara.

I broke down and purchased this mascara months ago after hearing nothing but great things. I purchased the full size mascara with a bonus travel size one (comes with me everywhere) and WOW - what an amazing mascara!

Just the right amount of product goes on to the brush, and it adds so much volume and definition to my lashes. Lasts all day & never fails to disappoint.

sephora gave this one too me as a free gift on my birthday and it only come in sample size. but the first time i used it, it was love at first sight! i fell in love with my lashes... now i know why the name is like that cause if you wear this, it looks like you are wearing falsies. :) willn probably purchase the full size whenever it fits on my budget. a little bit pricey but it's worth it!

This mascara is great. It doesn't clump nor does it weigh down my lashes. I really like how it lengthens my eyelashes and its also easy to remove. The only downside is its a bit on the pricey side.

Does what it advertises. If you're not careful with the tip of the brush it could cause unnecessary clumps in your lashes. Otherwise great mascara!

My favorite thing about this mascara is that it goes on smoothly, no clumps. I don't need to put on that many layers which is nice. It goes on nice and dark. It gives great length. It gives ok volume. I really like this mascara and would buy again.

They're Real Mascara by Benefit Cosmetics is a very effective product. It really does add considerable length to your lashes. My one big complaint about it is that I hate how it feels. Most mascaras have a lightweight feel to them, you don't really notice them. This mascara feels... greasy almost.

But, if you want extra length and volume, it does the job. For me it's a toss up. For special occasions, sure! But.... on a day to day basis? I'd probably take a pass.

I've usually get eyelash extensions or don't wear mascara at all cause it all get smudged - don't even last for couple of hours on my stupid eyes. lol

I found this mascara lovely -

* The before - after photo on the box shows Benefit's confidence on this product. I like!
* 8.5g - big enough to use like six months for me. I like!!
* no eyelash curler needed - my lashes curled up themselves. I like!!!
* long lasting - apply in the morning, looks almost the same after work. I like!!!!

Just one thing to add -
* It dries a bit fast, I had to re-apply quickly after the first coat.

I personally really like this mascara although it is not water proof and I do have to check my eyes every 4 or 5 hours or so to make sure it hasn't smudged. I do find that it lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates though and leaves my eyelashes looking great, unless it smudges. It was my first "high-end" mascara and I do find that it works better for me than the drug store brands. I love that it doesn't clump and it can be built on. however, for the price its def only a mascara that I would use occasionally as I'm too cheap to spend the $28 on a regular basis. I loved that it really did add volume to my lashes and have actually had people compliment my lashes while wearing it.
