Meh

I bought this after reading tons of great reviews but I have no idea why.. This isn't my idea of a primer.. Granted, it makes my mascara apply pretty well, it doesn't have any other benefits and I feel like it weighs my eyelashes down. Maybe I'm using it wrong but yeah, not impressed.

Nice product, but a little pricey

There is nothing wrong with this primer, except for the price. It works quite well with other Benefit mascaras, but as a primer I do find the formula to be a bit thick and on the clumpy side. Purchased once (before going cruelty-free), and the biggest deterrent is that it costs about as much as the mascara! For that fact alone, even if Benefit were cruelty-free, I probably would not repurchase.

Almost don't need to use mascara on top of it. Provides a perfect separation of the lashes. The product is amazing to use if you want to create a dramatic look

Got this as a sample in one of my subscriptions and I love it!
It has many uses;

Mascara on it's own - This is tinted so you can use it by itself without using a black mascara on top. It's subtle and works for a 'natural' dressed down look.

Day Mascara/Night Primer - If you're going out after work and have no time to redo your makeup. You can use this subtle colour and lift during the day, it doesn't dry out your lashes so you can put mascara right on top of it once you finish work for a quick perk up!

Purely as a primer: This is how I use it. I put it on my lashes before a night out and as soon as it dries, I layer on the black mascara (usually roller lash or they're real by benefit) and it lengthens your lashes noticeably.

Only downside is that it's a lot of money to spend on a product which is not 'necessary' in my book.
I probably won't be buying a full size for this reason only, it essentially doubles the cost of my eyelash products and I can't quite justify it.

Helps mascara stay on all day. Great tinted colour but a little pricey for the product. Would likely not purchase due to the price but not bad product

This is a great primer! I have many blonde eyelashes so I love that it is tinted. I can wear it alone for a more natural, quick look, or under my favourite mascara for a pumped up look. Long lasting and wears great.
