Great primer

When it comes to mascara Benefit always has the best ones! The They're Real! Collection is spectacular and when used with this primer the mascara not only stays on for longer but applies on so much easier and smoother with less clumping and smudging. It is tinted and can be used alone but I almost always pair it with the Yes, They're Real mascara to get the best and most beautiful results. My lashes look longer, thicker, and clump free thanks to using this primer. I highly recommend it and will be repurchasing it once my current one runs out!

Easy, no clump application

This is my new go-to mascara! It's easy to apply and the brush avoids clumping. It's a relatively natural look, but you can layer it up if you prefer. Doesn't smudge easily and comes off fairly easily as well. The price is a bit high for me, but I will keep buying it as it works so well!

A go-to!

I recently received a small sample-like size of this product in a subscription box. Love it!! It makes my lashes long and bold. Not chunky unless you over apply but in my opinion you don’t need more than a coat :) Will buy the full size !! Definitely recommend

Meh

I bought this after reading tons of great reviews but I have no idea why.. This isn't my idea of a primer.. Granted, it makes my mascara apply pretty well, it doesn't have any other benefits and I feel like it weighs my eyelashes down. Maybe I'm using it wrong but yeah, not impressed.

Need this daily!

Never used lash primer before but I thought I would give it a try and now I can't live without it. I've recently misplaced this so now I have to purchase another. It makes my lashes so full and long I can't believe how long i've gone without using this product before.

I'm a believer in eyelash primer now!

I used to think that eyelash primer was totally unnessacery, but when Ulta had this on sale for half off I figured to try it because I love the mascara! I'm obsessed with this primer. Looks great on it's own but it really does make a difference when you wear it with mascara. Does exactly what it says, separated and defines the lashes. I use it in combination with the They're Real mascara and my lashes look amazing. It works good with other mascara too.

Just as good as any eyelash primer

I purchased this last year with a gift card from Sephora, because it came highly recommended. Honestly, the product is fine, but I didn't really feel it was worth the price. It is no more effective than any other drugstore eyelash primer I have used. Don't regret buying it, but probably wouldn't buy again, even if Benefit became cruelty-free.

Nice product, but a little pricey

There is nothing wrong with this primer, except for the price. It works quite well with other Benefit mascaras, but as a primer I do find the formula to be a bit thick and on the clumpy side. Purchased once (before going cruelty-free), and the biggest deterrent is that it costs about as much as the mascara! For that fact alone, even if Benefit were cruelty-free, I probably would not repurchase.

This is like a two in one. I have worn it alone as a nice brown mascara and as a primer. I like the brush how it looks like so many bristles it separates each lash. Even makes my lashes look oh so full. Dare I say used as a primer maybe my lashes look amazing. One friend swore i had on fake lashes. She probably said that just to make me feel good. Whatever works. Sometimes a bit pricey is needed. Love Benefit They're Real. Easy to apply and remove whats not to like

This has the same brush as the "They're real mascara" which I don't like. Overall I'm not into this primer and I think that really it should be called that, but more of a brown mascara. It has a glossy finish and clumped my few lashes together, not what a primer should do. So I didn't find that it made layering my mascara on top of it easy. I've heard many people using this for their bottom lashes and I would do it too, if I used mascara on them.
