Great product

I have combination skin but I breakout a lot. This acne wash is great for those who have oily skin or acne prone skin and it helps to reduce acne and pimples. This cleanser works great on the skin by killing the acne bacteria and preventing any future breakouts it contains benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient and penetrates the pores to control pimples. My skin feels little bit tight after washing my face. A little goes a long way. Overall I really like this cleanser.

benzagel acne wash is light weight and has micronized formula, that means it penetrates into the pores and cleanses the pores and make sure to eliminate the acne causing bacteria.

Good if you need it

You can feel the grittiness in the solution when sudsing up your face. Have this having makes it feel as though it is more affective in reducing acne and redness. I love the light consistency as well. I am not a huge fan of the bottle application, I wish it was a squeeze tube or a pump.

Benzagel has always intrigued me due to its inclusion of the optimal 5% benzoyl peroxide, which is incredibly effective against acne while remaining gentle on the skin. The formula is designed to penetrate pores rather than simply resting on the surface layers of the skin.

Acne Wash:
🔆 The wash is a lightweight gel consistency that transforms into a gentle foam, effortlessly removing oils and dirt.
⭕️ However, I have noticed that it can be overly effective at times, leaving my skin feeling slightly dehydrated.

All the products share a potent natural scent, devoid of added fragrance. While I may not require the entire product line, I would choose a specific item that suits my skin's needs. For individuals facing excessive oiliness or acne, especially teenagers, this line presents a highly effective solution even though it might not cater to hydration needs. During my use, I did not experience any new breakouts, and any existing acne was promptly addressed.

With its 5% Benzoyl Peroxide concentration, this line excels at its intended purpose. Nevertheless, I opted to supplement the provided moisturizer with an additional one to meet my skin's specific hydration requirements.

An effective clean without drying out skin

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am a biracial woman in my mid-30s with oily, acne-prone skin. I used this acne wash every morning & night for approx. 1 week and paired it with the After Care Moisturizing Lotion and the Acne Gel. I received this product around the time of my period and as I tend to breakout around this tie, it was perfect for testing. I noticed a difference in my skin after a few days - less breakouts and the two pimples that have popped up were noticeably smaller. It did not dry out my skin or leave it feeling tchy or tight - it's a great, gentle face wash to combat those pesky pimples!

Gentler then I was expecting

It is a very runny white cleanser that you don't need much of to get a good lather. It does tingle a little bit on my skin but nothing too uncomfortable. Once I rinse it off my face feels a little tight but it doesn't leave my skin looking dry and flaky like other cleansers I've used. If you have occasional breakouts like me, I would recommend using this when you start to see acne start to flare up. Only negative I experienced was the bleaching damaged caused to fabric which it did have a warning about on the box.

Gentle Cleanser

Benzagel 5 Acne Wash is a gentle cleanser that has a creamy texture, that doesn't lather or bubble too much. It has a light medicated scent that isn't overpowering, and left my skin feeling clean and fresh. I find it's helped reduce the amount of break-outs on my face; especially during that time of month. I did experience a little dryness after day 2, but a little extra moisturizer in my routine helped fix that.

A really nice acne face wash

This acne face wash is a must for those who suffer from severe acne. I have used it and I have noticed a significant decrease in my acne scarring and my face seems nice and refreshed.

Great wash for oily skin

I have oily skin that is more acne prone so this wash is great for those who have oily skin like mine and helps reduce acne and pimples. The consistency of this cleanser is very light and translucent so it's gentle on the face and is also unscented too. Though since this wash has 5% benzoyl it does feel a lil bit drying after the wash but for those who have less oily skin def would need a heavy moisturizer afterwards.

Lovely Texture

This has a lightweight milky texture that feels gentle upon application. The standout feature, 5% micronized benzoyl peroxide, provided effective cleansing, although still felt the micronized particles while massaging it onto my face. Unlike typical cleansers, it didn't lather much, but it left my skin feeling cleansed and smooth. However, I did experience slight tightness / dryness after rinsing.
