A great light moisturizer!

This moisturizer has a very thin and watery consistency and is light on the skin. Very gentle for helping keep your skin moisturized when it may be irritated from acne issues. Perfect to help acne prone skin as it is not sticky or greasy and absorbs quickly. I would definitely use this in the summer months also as an alternative daily moisturizer as apposed to a thicker one. I like the small bottle with the pump applicator also, I can hold it right up to my face and squirt out product. I would definitely use this product again!

Very lightweight moisturizer

I wanted to express my gratitude to Butterly and Benzagel for providing me with this remarkable acne collection!

Benzagel has always intrigued me due to its inclusion of the optimal 5% benzoyl peroxide, which is incredibly effective against acne while remaining gentle on the skin. The formula is designed to penetrate pores rather than simply resting on the surface layers of the skin.

My Thoughts:
🔆 The moisturizer's consistency is notably light, almost watery, and I typically use two pumps per application.
⭕️ It's tailored for acne-prone and oily skin, which might not provide the level of hydration my skin requires, though I believe my teenage self would have appreciated it immensely.

All the products share a potent natural scent, devoid of added fragrance. While I may not require the entire product line, I would choose a specific item that suits my skin's needs. For individuals facing excessive oiliness or acne, especially teenagers, this line presents a highly effective solution even though it might not cater to hydration needs. During my use, I did not experience any new breakouts, and any existing acne was promptly addressed.

With its 5% Benzoyl Peroxide concentration, this line excels at its intended purpose. Nevertheless, I opted to supplement the provided moisturizer with an additional one to meet my skin's specific hydration requirements.

An effective moisturizer!

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am a biracial woman in my mid-30s with oily, acne-prone skin. I used this lotion every morning & night for approx. 1 week and paired it with the Acne Wash and the Acne Gel. I received this product around the time of my period and as I tend to breakout around this time, it was perfect for testing. The consistency is very light - it absorbs well and it highly moisturizing. It sits well under foundation also. No unpleasant scents either!

Works best as the combo

It helps to keep the skin hydrated for a long time , lightweight formula, contains squalene, especially after dryness by benzoyl peroxide .


Definitely recommended to try as combo. So far THE BESTEST product I found for acne ❤️💛

Not hydrating enough for my dry skin

This is a very light, runny moisturizer, best for those who want a lighter moisturizer as it won't be hydrating enough for drier skin types. It absorbs very quickly into the skin with no tackiness and my skin feels soft and smooth after using it but it doesn't feel very hydrated. This was my least favourite of the 3 products but would be the one I would be more inclined to use everyday.

Benazagel After Care Moisturizer

Nice product- only downside is that it contains AHA and I was not able to use it when using my gel and wash as they both already contained and active ingredient. Not super hydrating as I would have loved

After Care Moisturizing Lotion

I use this every morning to keep my face hydrated (only while my acne is still in the process of healing) and it also doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling.

Perfect after acre moisturizer

I have been using this product from past 2 weeks and my acne is completely gone. I am using Benzagel skin wash and after that I used this moisturizer to fix any slight dryness my skin had. This has worked like charm and my skin felt so smooth and hydrated. I used the gel in the morning and moisturizer at night.

When ever you are using acne fixing products, please do moisturize moisturize moisturize your skin. Trust me Benzagel is an awesome brand with their product lines and I am big fan of them now.

I love it

This lightweight gel-textured lotion made my skin soft and most importantly soothed my oily and acne-prone skin without making it greasy.
moisturizing is very good.  did not irritate active acne.  I used it in the last step of my skin care routine.
