Beringer Select Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent and inexpensive wine. Well worth its low price you would never guess it costs that little. I tend to try many wines but this is truly one of the best. It has won over 750 awards and with good reason. A dark deep complex red it is filled with berry and chocolate notes with a complex yet comforting warmth. The wine is very smooth and as a result you do not really taste the tannins and there is no ugly aftertaste. It pairs beautifully with steak, complex cheeses and even game meats. An excellent value in a complex and lovely wine.
