olive oil

i have purchased quite a few times in the past. but upon having read an article on how to verify authenticity of the oil.... I was so dissapointed....you put any olive oil in fridge, if it congeals you have an authentic oil, if not you have a mix of other oils, maybe vegetable and such...real letdown...
