Its Okay....but just okay.

The name Betty Crocker means quality to me, but she slipped up on this one. Sure it's icing, and gets the job done, but shouldn't be called cream cheese. It just doesn't taste like cream cheese at all, just regular vanilla. Skip the pre-made and make your own if you want real cream cheese flavour.

Overly Sweet & Tangy Vanilla Frosting

I was extremely disappointed by this icing. When I bought this, I wasn't expecting a homemade cream cheese taste, but I was at the very least expecting some cream cheese flavour. I was disappointed, however, because this tasted like an overly sweet and tangy vanilla icing. I found it to be quite disgusting. The positive is the icing is easily spreadable and fairly creamy in texture.

Does Not Taste Like Cream Cheese

This is not a bad icing at all. As a matter of fact it is easy to spread and it has a nice sweet flavor to it. This is good for cakes and cupcakes. My only complain is that I do not find it tastes like cream cheese in any way. If I did not know it was supposed to be cream cheese I would never guess. It does have a mild tang to it which is different than the Betty Crocker vanilla icing, but other than that there is not much difference. If I am looking for a cream cheese frosting to go on a carrot cake, I would rather make it homemade than use this. For other baking needs though this is a good tasting frosting at a good price.

Betty Crocker cream cheese icing gets the job done . It's okay for a store bought icing but I can make one that tastes much better. It's thick , creamy and spreads nicely . It's okay if you're in a hurry but I would prefer to make my own . It's always on sale for 99 cents and can be found at grocery stores or Walmart.

This is pretty good icing for ready made. I usually keep this in the house for carrot cake and do not find it to be too sweet either. It also goes on sale regularly as well.

I love baking I really do. I purchased this because I was lazy to make my own frosting and honestly it tasted horrible! I can honestly say it was a huge regret and I cant believe so many people are proud to give this to their guests!!! all I need is butter, vanilla and icing sugar to make a way better frosting than this one! gross!

I bake a lot and when I don't have the time or desire to make icing, this is the one I go to! Its thick, rich and creamy and spreads easily. Also holds the color of food coloring well.

I'm not much of a baker and really don't enjoy it especially not making icing so when I found out someone made my favorite cream cheese icing i was very excited i use this stuff on homemade carrot cake and muffins, so delicious

I always keep a couple of these icings in the cupboard. Fantastic for carrot cake. Yes, it is a tad sweet and thin, but the price is cheap and when you don't have time or money to make your own cream cheese icing this is a good product to use.

Betty Crocker Cream Cheese Icing it's so creamy and goes on really smooth I use it on my cakes and muffins tastes delicious my whole family loves it
