We have tried the devils food and the vanilla. Both are very easy to make and turn out nice and light and moist. The devils food is out favourite and we always keep a box or 2 in the pantry. The vanilla is quite bland unless you add extras to it or use lots of icing. The devils food is good with or without icing. To make it extra moist we sub the water with almond milk. We have 3 with celiac in the family and have had no issues with getting glutened.
This is a great go-to when I don't have time to make something gluten free. I usually make this mix into cupcakes instead of a cake. They freeze well un-iced.
I bought this to make a cake for a friend with a gluten allergy and to my surprise I was impressed:) very moist and delicious
