I’ve tried 2 different flavours of these mug cakes an my favourite has to be the chocolate fudge ...so far. I want to try the other still first ! My diet loves these

I made one of these for myself and put whipped cream and freshberries on the top and drizzled it with the caramel that came with it. So good!!
I’m a single parent and my son doesn’t eat cake so the size is just perfect for my cake cravings. So delicious too!!!

Treat in a mug!

Recently purchased this as I was wanting to try these mug cakes. I love vanilla anything. The flavour of the cake is a little bland especially for people who are expecting it to pack a punch. I let it rest for 20 minutes before putting the icing on. If you follow the directions on the box and put the icing on imedialty after it comes out of the microwave, it’ll be just a runny mess. Taste much better when cooled also. Nice snack when you’re looking for something sweet.

My family’s new favorite snack!

I recently bought these on a whim and I am so glad that I did. The whole family loves them. They are super easy to make and only take 1 minute in the microwave. The are super tasty and a great bedtime snack. I really like that they come with three servings in a box which makes me feel like it’s agreat value for my money.

Not a very good mug cake

A few brands have recently come out with mug cake mixes and I have been trying them all, as they are such a great idea for a quick snack to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Betty Crocker's Confetti mug cake was the first one that I tried and I was pretty disappointed. It had a very strong eggy smell when I took it out of the microwave and it really wasn't pretty.

The icing was the yummy Betty Crocker icing that we are all familiar with, and it helped to cover the taste of the actual cake. I was not a fan of how the cake turned out, it tasted as eggy as it smelled and it didn't have any recognizable flavour.

I would pass on this mug cake and try Duncan Hines' offerings instead.
