I think this razor gets the job done but not as great as other razors. It gets most of the hair off and I tend having to go back because the razor didn't shave off all the hair as it was suppose too. I think this is an okay razor if you want something cheap and for one time use. It is not a favourite of mine and not something I would be repurchasing anytime soon. OK product!
Yes, they look nice and they are cheaply priced but something about disposable razors of this kind doesn't do well for my skin. This particular variety when I shave I always knick myself and I am not the clumsy type girl. My skin is always super dry afterward also.
The only real good thing about these razors is the pretty colours and the cheap price. The razor itself though gives a sub-par shave; even with 4 blades it takes a few runs over to get all the hair, and by that time you've more than likely cut yourself about 98 times. Shaving with these is like shaving with a samurai sword, while drunk. I've only bought them in dire need situations because they're so inexpensive, but even after one use I throw them away. As far as disposables goes, go for a Gillette instead of Bic.
I bought Bic Soliel razors because they were on sale and I had a great coupon for them. I'm so thankful I didn't pay full price, because they were a waste of money.
I had to run over my legs three or four times to get a somewhat close shave with the 3 blades, and it still wasn't enough to get a very close shave. What's more, the very next day my legs felt stubbly again. My second time using the razor I shaved my armpits, and had to go over the area over and over because the razor was already dull from just one leg-shave. My legs are average height (I'm 5'6) and I'm not a hairy person anywhere, so I was disappointed with the poor performance.
The handle is cheap plastic and the blade isn't ergonomic. My legs felt dry and scraped after I used the razor. I could see if there was a significant price difference between these and quality razors (Schick Hydro Silk and Gillette Venus Embrace) but there isn't: the Bic Soleils are only a couple dollars less and far worse in performance.
Spend the extra few dollars and get a better razor.
I have never been a big fan of Bic products. I always cut myself with this products for some reasons. It only has four blades, where most of the razors I use have five. Bic has come a far distance since the good old yellow and white one bladed nightmare days, but I am still not a fan of this product. Sorry Bic..
These are my all time favourite razors. They are very well priced and go on sale often. they have a smooth glide and dont get dull very fast like with most disposable razors. One razor seems to last for quite a long time so thats good for your buck!
For disposible razors these are great!
They are definitely the best bang for your buck. No reason to pay $10 for a pack of three. You can usually find a pack of 6 for $5
These are the only disposible razors I buy.
I used these razors and regretted it so much. They were terrible. They cut up my whole leg, and I never cut myself, the left a lot of hairs behind and did not even give a close shave. Save your money.
