Bio oil

I tried using this kind of product for my scar but it did not work for me! I love the scent but not the quality though... it's good for moisturizing your skin

I haven't gotten a chance to try this out over time so can't comment on the effectiveness. On first pass it is very hydrating and absorbs quick for an oil. I really hate the scent however ... it's awful.

Pricy and smelly

I'm currently pregnant and prone to getting stretch marks. I bought a large bottle of Bio oil, and used it regularly on my stomach, sides, and on my breasts. You will have to use a lot to find it moisturizing. I also find it gives off an unpleasant smell. I use coconut oil and find it works better than Bio Oil. It's expensive and doesn't seem to be very effective. I'm getting more and more stretch marks regardless... I would not buy again.

Doesn't work. Its way too expensive. Too oily. It doesn't help with dryness, scars or stretch marks. I would never buy this again. I got mine free so I'm glad I never wasted money.

It didn't work as I thought it would

I had a burn on my arm (2nd degree burn) and I tried this product and I found it took a really long time to make a difference in the scar. I honestly used another product and was much happier with those results. This is a huge new brand product and I was disappointed that it didn't live up to my expectations. I'm actually really happy that I didn't pay for it and that it was given to me. Since my burn I've never used it again. The same bottle is still sitting in my room collecting dust.

I bought this because I had seen reviews that people used this to help with their appearances of scars. I had surgery on my wrist with a very big ugly scare. Plus, I also have scars on my face from acne. Unfortunately, this oil did absolutely nothing to any of my scars appearnaces. They remained the same, so I stopped using it after trying for a few months.

I used this religiously with both pregnancies and did not notice a difference at all. Literally 3 times a day with no results aside from my skin being oily and smooth. Considering what I spent on enough to coat my tummy multiple times a day I would say it was a massive waste of my hard earned money.

Considering all the body oils and knock off versions of body oils that make the same claims as Bio-oil, this is NOT worth the considerable price difference. It soothes dry skin, but only when you're got it on, and I've noticed no difference in my stretch marks or significant change for my dry skin. And worst of all, it's got an EXTREAMLEY strong scent. Not subtle or even nice IMO. Personallly, I think if you're looking for a skin oil you're better off trying something like Jojoba oil. More natural and works just as well.

Bio oil did nothing for me. Nothing for my scars or stretch marks. It however smells nice and is nice as just an oil moisturizer, but as far as making scars and stretch marks less noticeable, it did not deliver, at all
