Good, but too much fragrance

I wanted to love this product. I love the concept of it. I love the value for price. The packaging is good. It was hard to find in stock.

I was hoping it could do double duty, as makeup remover for me as well as sponge bath solution the baby. It doesn't seem to remove makeup as well as the micellar water I normally use.

It does work fine to freshen up the baby in-between baths. It's great for wiping down the spots that get grimy and rashy from drool and spit up, like the neck folds. It's handy for me sometimes too, when I need to clean baby fluids off of myself.

The jug is huge, even with frequent use it will last a long time. Great bang for your buck.

But whyyyyyyy does it have to be so heavily scented? It's a nice smell, but just strong. And it's not a gentle smell like you'd normally associate with a baby product. It's more perfumey. Take that with a grain of salt though, I'm more sensitive to fragrance than your average person, and we use a lot of unscented products in this household so the bar is set pretty low.

It says it's safe to use on the baby's eyelids and everything, but I don't feel right putting something that perfumey on such a sensitive area. Even my drug store brand make-up remover isn't this scented.

I also find it more drying on my own eyelids than the micellar water I normally use. So there is room for improvement, but I still really like the product, and will likely buy it again.

it cleans well

it's definitely one of the best cleansing product i have used. it removes all the make up, even water proof mascara. the price is reasonable and one bottle lasts a while

Wouldn't use for baby, but great for me!

I wouldn't use this on my baby, but as a micellar water, I really like it. Research has shown that water might not be the safest and kind way to clean a baby's skin, but the addition of fragrance to this means I really wouldn't use it on mine. There's no need for fragrance in micellar water, in my opinion. However, this is absolutely great for grown-ups (other than the fragrance), despite being marketed to babies.

My usual micellar water, for example, is cheaper, but for a much smaller bottle. The bottle size makes this a huge bargain for those who use Micellar Water to cleanse. I've been a fan of Micellar Water for a long time, because it cleanses my skin reasonably well, but mostly because it's so easy to use. No rinsing, just a cotton pad and a swipe and you're ready to tone/moisturise; it's super simple.

There are also people with dry skin in our house and micellar water is really effective at healing that skin and leaving it much improved.
