Great scent

I live the pretty scent while waiting for my hair nask to process. It left my hair feeling silky and smooth live this stuff. Good stuff for after coloring or heat styling.

Could be better.

I purchased this at my local hairdressing salon. My main need was to treat dry ends and since I had previously heard good things about the Biolage Matrix brand, I thought this was going to give me great results. I'm not really disappointed with the way this made my hair feel and look. It did make my hair feel softer and the ends weren't as dry as before. It also made my hair more manageable, especially when combing through it when wet. However, this mask has a clay-like consistency which takes some time and effort to really get through your hair and scalp. It needs a lot of moisture to be able to spread evenly. Apart from that, it contains little plastic-like beads in it, which was probably meant as an exfoliating feature, but I found it to be so pointless and unnecessary, not to mention the fact that it's not environmentally safe and you'll find blue bits in your hair if you don't rinse well enough. It also contains parabens, dyes and other harmful chemicals. I wish I had thought of reading through the ingredient list before I had purchased and used this. It was also quite expensive. I paid $12 for 100 ml, which of course I expected to pay more for it since it came from a beauty salon, but I thought I would be getting an exclusive product, therefore I splurged. Never again. I'm sure Biolage probably has better products out there, but this one left me disappointed.
