slight skin irritation
I got this as a sample to try out and was really looking forward to using it to clean my skin. However, as I was applying it on my face started feeling weird tingles. After using it for like 10-20 mins I washed it off and saw I had few red spots on my forehead and cheek and it got me shook. I don't even have sensitive skin or anything so having a reaction to it surprised me and I stopped using it. If I with normal combination skin had a slight reaction to this how will others with sensitive skin react? I do not recommend this.
Red is not my colour
I have a normal complexion..
I was really excited about this product as I hate the tedious applications of normal face masks and the duration of the time it takes to work.
The colour was a nice baby blue, but for me the smell was awful. The directions explained to apply to wet skin and chill for 5 whilst it worked its magic.
Immediately after application (30seconds approx) I had to wash it off. My face was on fire! I'm not sure of the menstrual cycle plays a part with how sensitive you may become (change in hormones - I'm 2 weeks in). But it was an awful experience. My skin felt tight, hot and looked bright red for half an hour. Needless to say I won't be using this product again. Highly disappointed.
Not for me
I used this product twice- first time it started to burn and left my skin really red. So thought I’d left it in too long so thought I would give it one more chance in case it was my fault. Second time I used it I left it on for 3 minutes (says to leave it on for 5) and it still left my face red. Would not recommend for anyone who has even slightly sensitive skin
Meh facial non-masky mask
I'm always a fan of Biore, and intrigued by claims of "detox" but this didn't meet my needs.
It says to use on a wet face, which I did, but it takes a lot of product and massaging to create enough of the light foam to stick to my skin. It has a nice cooling sensation while waiting the 5 minutes (it did say to "chill" during that time), which will probably be really nice in the summer. The product is quite thin when massaging - not like a typical mask - but more like a foam cleanser that I am leaving on my face. It was very slick, so I had to wipe it off with a washcloth. My skin felt soft afterwards, but a bit sticky, not silky, so my moisturizer didn't go on really smoothly.
I did not like the scent. It was relatively mild but still smells like a cheap men's grooming product.
For being a mask, and having lots of "faddy" words on the label, I wasn't impressed. I prefer other products in their blue agave line more than this. I would not recommend.
