Of the two baking soda products, this is my least favourite and in my opinion the least effective. The exfoliate isn't that strong and it really just reminds me of liquid soap. It's nothing special. Worst of all, after rinsing the product off, it dried out my skin! It felt so dry and pulled. I will not be getting another one when I run out.

Out of the new Baking Soda products by Biore, this one was my least favourite. I much preferred the Scrub over this for one simple reason. I currently have a cleanser that doesn't require rinsing, so I found this daily use cleanser took far too long and I think over long term I'd be too lazy to use it.
I did find it made some difference to my pores, cleaning out some of the dirt, but after almost two weeks of use there were still a reasonable amount of blackheads left. It's certainly not a bad cleanser and for the price is actually really good! Unfortunately, though, it's nowhere near as good as my go to cleanser so it's not a product I would continue to buy. This is solely due to my personal preference as I didn't like the application process and would have liked to see an extreme difference in my pores! When used in conjunction with the Baking Soda Scrub, it's still a pretty nice product and for someone with only a mild blackhead problem, would eradicate it totally.
For those of us with deep seated blackheads and large pores, Biore needs to work on something atomic to help us out!

I really liked Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. In my opinion, it was actually preferable to the Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser in many ways, though I used both in conjunction. I have combination skin so I worry a lot about exfoliating scrubs drying out my skin or damaging it, while needing a lot of tough love on my nose area, especially the pores. With the Baking Soda scrub I didn't get dried out at all and after using it for almost two weeks, I definitely notice a difference. My skin is a lot softer and smoother, especially immediately after I use it. Unfortunately that tends to fade over the next couple of days, but it still leaves my skin softer than before, so much so that I've been using it without a moisturiser and my skin is still really soft and nice!
Unlike some reviewers I didn't find this too rough even though I added only a little water. This could be because my usual scrub is quite a rough charcoal so in comparison this felt very soft and gentle. I will definitely continue to use this product three times a week and would recommend it to anyone with combination skin. I really love how my skin feels immediately after use and how it improved my overall skin quality!
The price is a little higher than I'd like, but it seems like it would last a good long time. I'm not a fan of Biore's 'don't be dirty' slogan, but the product I like!

The first time I used this cleanser I experienced a bit of irritation because I was experiencing a lot of skin dryness but after my skin balanced out I tried it again and I got a really good clean with no irritation.
I received this as a part of a free product box to review it. After the first use I found my skin INCREDIBLY softer and the blackheads on my nose were almost gone. I was really shocked about how well this product actually worked. It activates with water, so I put the powder in my hand and added water until it becomes a scrub. It's gentle enough to use on dry skin, but I will be following the direction to only use once a week, it could dry out skin if used daily. I really like this product and will likely purchase again.
Okay, not a big fan of this one. The idea is quite innovative and I can see how some people would like it, but I just can't get over the smell. Smells like those fruit breezer halls to me, and I just feel weird putting it on my face. Haven't noticed it change my skin much but I will continue using and if it clears up my blackheads maybe I will have a different opinion on this product.
The Bioré Cleanser’s texture is very gel-like with a few grainy component – which is most likely because it has baking soda incorporated in it. The cleanser lathers up very well and the scent was “fresh” and kind of “floral” – it wasn’t too bad. The cleanser did its job and left my skin clean and smooth.
At first glance I thought this was going to be gimmicky, especially since I’ve been using Tatcha’s Classice Rice Enzyme Powder. But after using it a few times the product stands up to its claims. The texture of this product is not rough or grainy – it’s actually very fine and powdery – much like the Tatcha. It emulsifies under water and the scent reminds me of limes. This can be a deal breaker for someone whose sensitive to particular scents. Compared to Tatcha – Tatcha doesn’t have a scent since its main ingredient is rice however, the Enzyme Powder does emulsifies – but not as much as Bioré. The Bioré contains menthol which left a little tingling on my skin when applied – the tingling didn’t feel abrasive nor irritated my skin.
