Biore pore strips are extremely effective and I was not decieved in terms of it's effectiveness. The process isn't time consuming and having multitasking be a way of habit I loved that I was not forced to be sedentdary hours on end. I would warm that this product does not cleanse every inch of your face, but only the flatter surfaces. Creases with pores were not reached and I had to remove leftover strip with water afterwards, but I would 100% reccomend this product to others!
I'm a fan
Honestly I only use these for my pores. I don't have blackheads so I don't know how these would work for those. I like these and even though it hurts like hell taking it off, I find it unclogs my pores well. I haven't tried other pore strips so I don't know how these would compare but I like them and would recommend.
Expensive, yet effective. Would buy again.
I've been using these strips for years and they work very well to remove clogged pores from the nose. They are rather pricy for a small box containing only a few strips, however. I have seen generic strips on the market and may be inclined to buy those to compare and contrast the results.
I would buy product again
These stripes are awesome for removing blackheads. Easy to follow instructions and easy to remove. They works great. They actually removed all the blackheads on nose with one strip!!
Love the tea tree, definite difference
Firstly, I have to say that out of all the Biore strips I've tried, these are my favourite. The addition of Tea tree and Witch hazel seems to work very well and not only do they have a lovely tea tree smell, but they don't seem to damage my skin or make it peely like some of the other formats. The problem with these strips, to a degree, is often we believe we have blackheads, but they are in fact 'sebaceous filaments' which are perfectly natural. So if you still see blackheads on your nose, don't lose hope and do a bit of research. Photoshopping pores out of models faces have left many of us feeling like we have more blackheads than we actually do.
As you can see, my nose is one of my 'oily' problem areas on my combination skin. I was very pleased with these strips because I found there was a noticeable reduction in the appearance of my blackheads after use (see before and after pictures). They can be a bit fiddly to use, so make sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep the box so you can see which way up the strip goes! Here are my personal tips about application.
- Wash nose area with cleanser and warm (on the side of hot) water to open pores before use.
- Make sure your face is VERY wet as it dries quickly, put water higher and further out than you think you'll need or you might find the edges of the strip don't stick properly.
- Dry hands as quickly as possible so you can get the strip on before skin dries.
Other than that, I do like that I can easily wear my glasses while letting this work it's magic and I definitely noticed a difference.
good
These work really well on my nose for black heads, the strip does remove quite a bit. I wish the strip was made a little longer so it could cover a little bit of my cheek by my nose.
ouchie
hurts really really bad so if u have sensitive skin i wouldnt reccoment but if you dont its great. it really does work and you an see the junk in ur skin come out
Ok, it works...kinda
Guess is depends on your skin type maybe...i am with one of the girls on here....maybe they changed something in it to make it less strong, but i don't get much out of these, and for the price not to sure if it is worth buying again.
Get rid of blackheads safely!
I've been using these pore strips for years to get rid of pesky blackheads without poking and prodding at my nose. Not only do I use these on my nose, but the work great on your chin if you flip them upside down. They can be quite expensive, and you have to keep using them regularly, but in my opinion, they are worth it.
I love to buy these when they are on sale
Biore has had a $2 off manufacturer coupon in stores lately and I grabbed a few to keep in my purse waiting for a sale. The last time I bought strips, they were on sale for $6.99, I used one of the coupons and then used an $1 additional coupon on Checkout 51.
I stopped using these strips for a long time because I found I wasn't getting the results that I wanted, then I saw an interesting video on YouTube that showed how to get great results with pore strips.
The first step is to take a shower, or steam your face. Next, mix baking soda with water to create a paste and gently exfoliate the areas where you will be applying the strips, then apply strips.
I found that doing this gets me much better results than I was getting previously and now I am using the strips more often. I have heard that the Walgreen's version of the pore strips work better than Biore and will be buying some the next time that I go to the US.
