This cleanser burns like crazy when you put it on, its intense and scares me while in the shower that it might run down south, haha. I paid about $6 for it at my local Superstore, looking for something with charcoal after reading all about it on other sites, but honestly it does nothing for my skin. For the first week of using it every other day, I broke out in all these tiny white heads under my nose and bottom lip, I normally have clear but oily skin, and it really irritated it. I use it about once a week but it really feels like it burns my skin and dries it out so badly. I am normally impressed by other Biore products, but this one just wasn't for me.

I've always heard that charcoal does wonders for your skin. Unfortunately, this cleanser doesn't live up to that hype or its claims for that matter. It claims to be give you results after just one use, and draw out and trap 2x more dirt and impurities than a basic cleanser. In my opinion, this is an average cleanser from the drugstore. It doesn't contain any additional advantages or benefits than the cleanser on the shelf next to it. I don't find that it draws out any more dirt than the cleanser I previously used. While its not a bad cleanser, I think it is a branding/marketing strategy used to capitalize on the charcoal beauty trend. I enjoyed the packaging though; very convenient with the pump.

i dont feel as though my face is as clean with some of the biore cleansers i have tried in the past. when i first starting washing my face with this my skin got lightly red and flakey. so i tried only using it once a day and now that seems fine. it is an ok cleanser but it falls of short to its claim that it 'naturally purifies and deep cleans'. it leaves my skin clean tight and dry but it does little to nothing for deep pores

Leaves my skin matte. Foams nicely and washes away easily. I don't think it's very good if your skin is dry though. It seems to make my skin drier if I use it daily. I'd recommend using every other day.

Dries out your skin and your face still doesn't look any cleaner!

Tried this when I got it on sale it was okay.

When I first purchased this product I liked it. However, after using daily it began drying out my normally oily skin. I found it wasn't cleaning my pores even if I exfoliated. All it left me with was tight, dry feeling skin.

Received this as a sample. Tried it twice and it dried my skin out so badly. Might just be me as I do have somewhat sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend this product of your prone to dry skin

Great cleanser at a great price. After you cleanse you get a really nice cool fresh feeling. I just don't recommend using this prior to any Nair hair removal on the face. Ive been using Nair for years and never had any problem until I used this cleanser right before. My upper lip was burning and inflamed for about a day after. Bad idea!
