I have been using Biosilk for almost 10 years now. It a wonderful detangler, smells incredible and manages my frizz. It's helped to heal damage from chemicals and styling aids too!!
I love that it can be used on the skin too, so that not even 1 drop is ever wasted!!!
I have super curly/ often very frizzy hair. So when my mom gave me my first bottle of biosilk silk therapy product it literally transformed my hair! I use it as soon as I get out of the shower when my hair is wet, as I don't need to use as much and it is easier to spread. It's a great smelling product too, where a little goes along way. I would definitely recommend this product to people with thick, curly, and frizzy hair. Also if you're worried about the price, I usually buy mine at Costco, for about $14 dollars, and it's a fairly large bottle that will last you months.
I've been using this for 16 years... Since the days where it was super expensive and only available in salons... And I have to say, I've never found anything that could even come close to replacing it.
Honestly, the best product for sleeker hair, with less frizz and great condition... And now that it's available for a reasonable cost at local drugstores and even Costco sometimes... Wow!
I use it when my hair's wet before I blowdry/flat iron/etc... AND afterwards as a finisher. It's phenomenal!
I have wavy hair, and a lot of it, so when I get hot, or the air gets humid, my hair gets big and frizzy. For years I have used a conditioner with a lot of wax in it because it controlled the frizz, but it weighed my hair down and made it hard to hold a style (without using a ton of hairspray). Biosilk controls the frizz without the "heavy" feel, and makes my hair shine. It looks healthier and feels better and I don't have to use very much hairspray anymore.
I love using this product in my regime after my shower. It makes my hair so shiny and smells so refreshing. It adds an extra touch to my hair and it's my little secret that all my friends are dying to know about.
One of the only products I've found that works really well for dry and thick hair types like myself. Make sure you only apply a dime size amount though otherwise your hair will end up looking a little greasy. Great product but the size of the bottle seems to be getting smaller each time I go to the drug store.
I bought this a while back, and although the bottle is pricey and looks small, it lasts forever! I'm still not done the first bottle. I initially bought it because the hairstylist would put it on my hair before straightening, and my hair always looked silky, smooth and soft. Not to mention smells great. So I bought this product and haven't been disappointed. The key is to use a very small amount. What I do is: take a pea size amount in the palm of my hand, then rub my hands together to spread the product. Apply it on my hair from the ears down to the ends. The leftover in my hands I apply very sparingly to the rest of my hair (crown to ears). This way the product doesn't weigh down my hair, but the teeny tiny tad that's on the crown is more than enough to control frizz.
Did you ladies know that this works as a body moisturizer in a cinch? Cool huh? Thought I'd add that too.
The scent is lovely and it really leaves your hair smooth and less frizzy. You can also use it as a moisturizer for your skin as well!
