Must Have!

BIOTENE MOISTURIZING MOUTHWASH is a lifesaver for me! As a kid and now into adulthood, I generally sleep with my mouth open and now I suffer from 'dry mouth'. This makes it hard for me to swallow at times and makes it difficult for my body to produce saliva. Before finding this mouthwash the only thing that helped me was drinking tons of water and sucking on sugar free hard candies. This stuff changed the game for me, especially at night. Up to 5 times a day (I average 2-3) you swish about a tablespoon of this around in your mouth for approximately 30 seconds and then spit it out, much like regular mouthwash. It has an incredible minty taste which helps to freshen your breath at the same time as providing relief! The moisturizing system is alcohol and sugar FREE which is so important because alcohol and sugar both help contribute and worsen the effects of dry mouth. The bottle states that the effects remain for around 4 hours but unfortunately I find that they last for maximum 1 hour. The cost of the mouthwash is $12.99 at my local grocery store, which to me, is quite pricey. The bottle is smaller then an average mouthwash and does not last nearly as long. Overall this is a great product and I won't stop purchasing it, but I wish the price point was lower.

It has a great taste. It really does moisturizer your mouth. It's a little thicker liquid, so gargling is a bit trickier, it bubbles up quite a bit. Overall....does the job!
