I thought it was a great product for moisturizing and it did make my legs and derriere nice and soft but unfortunately did not help with my cellulite. I have had cellulite since a teenager and I really wasn't expecting the product to elimate this problem but all in all I never really noticed a difference. I guess I will just have to hang onto my cellulite a little longer.
I received this product as part of the Product Review Club which I was so grateful as I wouldn't normally go out and purchase this. Cellulite is a problem for me but I tend to buy other beauty products first such as makeup before creams and lotions.
I loved the cooling sensation of this product and the scent was appealing which was a surprise as I often find these types of creams have a medicinal smell to them. I was also very pleased with how the cream was nice and smooth, not sticky. The cream made my skin very smooth and soft.
I'm still undecided on how effective the product was on making my cellulite actually minimize in appearance but I think with prolonged use it will be effective. I did notice a difference in the texture and feel of my skin so I will continue to use this product long after this review. I would recommend this to friends and family.
Thanks again Chick Advisor for introducing me to a great product!
I received this product from the Beauty Review Club, and was very excited to try it. At first I quite liked the smell, but found that it soon became overwhelming. The gel texture was quite nice and it went on very smoothly. However, when I put it on right out of the shower/bath, I found it make my thighs tingle. I am not sure if that is what it was supposed to do, or if I was having a sensitivity to the fragrance.
I used this product mostly on my thighs and hips. Unfortunately, I didn't find any long term benefits. Right after I used the product, my skin did feel smoother and looked more supple, but once the product wore off (ie during the day) or was washed off, my skin went back to the way it was before.
Overall, I would say that the product was average and wouldn't suggest it to people with sensitive skin as the fragrance is quite strong.
I received Cellui Laser D.Code Advanced Anti-Celluite Care by Biotherm from the Chickadvisor Review Club. I used this product twice a day for over three weeks, applying it once in the morning and once at night. I would have to say that I have moderate cellulite on my thighs and butt and I have used anti-cellulite products in the past, more often in the summer months than any other time of year.
The packaging for this product was very nice and the tube was perfect in squeezing out just the right amount of product to apply. The fragrance of the product was citrus- like with an odd chemical undertone, it reminded me of furniture polish that I use, I tried to let it grow on me but it was quite off-putting. The cream was an orange colour with some shimmer in that I quite liked, although I found the cream could be quite drying, so in the future I probably would not use in the winter months because I tend to have dry skin on my legs.
As for the effectiveness of the product, I found it dramatically improved the tone and texture of my skin and did smooth out some patches of minor cellulite, while somewhat minimizing the bigger dimples on my thighs. I was very happy with the results and will continue to use this cream into the summer. I would buy this cream again, despite the hefty price tag ($70.00) and I will recommend it to my friends who have mild to moderate cellulite or to those who just want achieve a smoother skin tone on their thighs, butt and glutes.
I've been using this cream for a bout 2 weeks now, although I love how silky and smooth it makes my skin feel, its not very effective when it comes to deminishing cellulite.
I would recommend it for moisturizing purposes but not as a cellulite deminishing cream
I tried to give this product a fair chance by faithfully applying it twice a day, as directed. If I didn't quite manage both applications every day, I almost always got at least one in. The lotion itself is very nice, a thick gel that smoothes into skin nicely. I could tell when I was wearing it but it never felt tacky or sticky. And I'm impressed that a month later I still have a fair amount of product left, even after using a pretty generous dollop each time.
As for results, it didn't eliminate all traces of dimples, but my skin is firmer and smoother, and this at a time when I'm several pounds over my normal weight (I was calling it 'holiday weight' but since we're now March I'll have to rename it). It's effective enough that I would happily continue to apply it twice a day... if it were always free.
So my "you betcha" is qualified. For me, $80 is a big deal and far surpasses any amount I've ever spent on a product. If it were a one-time investment, fine, but as an ongoing part of my routine I would have to pass. But if you can afford it, go for it.
Thank you Chickadvisor for allowing me to review this product. I used this product for 4 weeks as instructed, applying it in the morning and evening. I have always been very skeptical about cellulite creams (how can a cream get rid of the way that the fat lies underneath the skin?) however, I have heard reports that they can help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
First of all, I liked the way that the product felt when I applied it (it's a gel and goes on very smooth) and didn't find the smell to be too strong. However, the price of this product is quite steep (around $70) and apparantly there is also a scrub and night cream that is part of this product family that you can also buy. This one is the day cream (which I applied twice daily and found this to already be a lot of work). I can't imagine having to add a scrub to the process although this is supposed to help "break down" the fat deposits and improve the results even more.
I have to report that I did notice a *slight* improvement as my skin did appear *slightly* smoother with not as much dimpling but can't say that it was all that significant. I don't think paying $70 for a product is worth it if the results are barely noticeable.
However, I only have a little bit of cellulite. The results might be more significant on someone who has more cellulite because the amount of improvement may be more obvious. But it's still a lot of money to invest in something that only seems to slightly reduce the appearance of cellulite and does not get rid of it entirely.
I was very exciting when the tube of Biotherm Celluli Laser D.Code arrived in the mail, but was completely disappointed on first use. First of all, they claim that the product has no residue once applied, but I found the back of my legs and rear sticky after repeatedly rubbing the product in thoroughly. I wasn't too pleased about repeating this process twice a day for four weeks, but I did. The smell of the lotion is pleasant enough, but I could not get over the texture. After four weeks of using this product, which is the recommended time for seeing results, I saw very little improvement. I am a very active person and my cellulite is very much genetically related and unfortunately this product, despite its claims to fight genetics, did little to improve my cellulite. I say fugheddaboutit!
First of all kudos to Chick Advisor for allowing me to test this product – it definitely eased the pain when after a dedicated four-week application, the results were not completely as promised.
That said, I have minimal cellulite and had high hopes to get rid of that little bit which, I feel has to some degree disappeared, I still see traces of it. Regardless, I must admit that those areas where I applied (while wishing and hoping) do seem a little more taut.
Also, the product has a wonderful smell that I loved – but had to wonder what it was masking as the ingredients list many products, none of which seem natural.
All in all, I will continue using this product as I’m not completely done with the formula but don't think I'll run out for a refill. For those with minimal cellulite, you may notice some results but don’t expect a magical potion. Perhaps some things are too good to be true?
Wow. When I signed up to review this product, I didn't know how much it cost. It costs $79.00??? That will buy you a month at a gym, or a month's worth of fruits and vegetables, both of which would be more effective than this product.
I wanted to believe. I did. But when I got the product and ripped open the package and read the ingredients, I knew from the get-go it would be a let-down (as all cellulite creams seem to be). The second ingredient is alcohol, which is really bad for your skin. However, I soldiered on and slathered this stuff - which, by the way, is intensely perfumed, in order to mask a distinct barnyard smell - on my thighs and butt for four weeks. And my thighs and butt look exactly the same now as they did four weeks ago. All I can say is I'm glad I got it for free and didn't spend $79.00 to find out how useless it is.
