Shimmer
Wow, these are shimmery. I purchased when they were on sale prior to switching over their formulas. The prismatic pearl line is definitely unique. I decided on rose pearl, as this was one of the more down to earth shades in the line. It is a pretty shimmery pink. I only use this product on my lips, same as the other multi sticks I own. I find they are a bit too rough to use on my eyes. Even on my lips, it is a bit rough, but easier to glide on with a lip balm or different lipstick on prior. This would be pretty as a lip top on another lipstick that is a darker shade. It would give it a nice pop I think. I do not think I would purchase the other shades in this line though, as they are a bit too out there for me. Overall, the quality is alright.
Meh
While I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Bite's lipsticks, their multi-sticks fall short of my expectations. The shades are absolutely gorgeous, and extremely wearable, however the formula is not the greatest. It is a bit more rough to apply, and therefore does not work as well as an eye-shadow. Positives? While it is drying, it is quite pigmented, and will stay on quite long with or without primer. I recommend testing it out in store before purchasing, or buying a deluxe sized product first. For the price, I will probably just buy a lipstick instead, as the prices are close together and fairly comparable.
Neat in theory but falls short in practice, too dry
This is an okay product! I don’t find myself using it very often though. I find it’s too dry. I know it’s supposed to be a drier texture and a powder finish but to me it’s hard to blend on my cheeks and eyes and it’s not very comfortable as a lipstick. It’s about twenty something Canadian dollars too so for the price unfortunately it’s not a win for me personally but if you’re looking for something like this and don’t mind the drier texture I encourage you to swatch in store if possible and see if you like it. The colour I have, almond, is pretty both as a straight swipe and blended out (pic attached)
Not my jam, but a good product, no less!
I received the sample shade 'Mochi' from Sephora as a Canada Day promotion. I chose this freebie because I loved my sample of Bite Beauty's Amuse Bouche Lipstick, but this formula is far different. It is just as pigmented as the Amuse Bouche, but definitely not long-wearing. This is likely due to blendability purposes, so that you can also use it on your cheeks and eyelids, as it claims on the Sephora website. I'm not really a one-for-all solution type of person, so I can't see myself every purchasing this, but if you like putting lipstick on your eyes and cheeks... well, I'd say, go for it!
