wooo hooo absolutely in <3 with my bb8830 world edition. So glad I switched to a smart phone versus the cell I had before.

I do absolutely everything with this...make calls, check email, instant message, calendar, task, memo pad...I have my work email on here as well. It really has combined the pda and the cell, which is exactly what I needed!

    LOVE IT!

I agree with the other reviewer, I really like this phone. I was reluctant to get a blackberry because I am one of those "a phone should just be a phone people". I also have a tendancy to drop things so did not think investing in an expensive blackberry was the way to go. Anyway, after my last phone bit the bullet I got a red Blackberry 8330 Curve for free from the phone company. I am very happy with this smartphone and can now see why they are so addictive!

At first I found the small qwerty keyboard hard to type on at first as I was used to texting the old way but after a coupld of days I got used to it. I find the background noise on this phone to be minimal. Sometimes if there is a lag in talking in the conversation, I will feel like there is no one on the other end because there is not air white noise like there was on my other phone.

Like the other reviewer, I got the red color as well because I thought it was stylish. I am still getting used to the phone but so far so good, I am very pleased with this smart phone.

This phone is AMAZING. I have had so many cell phones, I am constantly looking for the next greatest thing. This is my third Blackberry and somewhere around my twentieth phone, and it is by far the best. It is a great size, very skinny but not so small that I am constantly losing it. I am very rough on my phones (puddles, floors, everything..) & I haven't been very easy on this one. I got it for Valentine's Day 2009 & it is still going strong! That's amazing for me! It has a small qwerty keyboard, but it is big enough that you don't hit the wrong buttons all the time. As for the service, I have Sprint & there have been phones where I am constantly dropping calls. Not with this thing! I stand in the middle of my basement, & can make a call with 5 bars. It's amazing. The red color is stylish. It isn't too bright or too dark, but it definitely stands out. I love the Blackberry e-mail. I couldn't live without this phone. If you're looking for a new phone, BUY it!!

The Blackbery Curve is an amazing phone. It is the perfect medium between the all fun touch blackbery and the all work blackberry bold. It is a mix between the more traditional style and the up and coming style and it's great! I just got a hand me down one, but it's on it's way out but only because I am getting the Blackberry Storm as a gift. Otherwise, I would definatley keep it! It is a tad expensive, but hey it is a Blackberry! I love the scroll ball and it navigates very effectively! I also love the media capabilities, you can still view pictures and take great pictures ( I love the fact that it has flash for the camera) but it is still a work class phone. Weather it is sending emails or texting friends, taking pictures or sending info, the blackberry has it all at the touch of a button. I will be getting the Storm only because I am a gadget nerd and love to play with things, but still love the organization of Blackberry, I Phone move out the way!

I'm addicted!!! They call it crackberry for a reason!
    one word- BB MESSENGER!!!
that thing saves me on daytime minutes!!! It's still nice to hear people talk to you on the phone, instead of hearing your fingers clicking, but using that audio note for bbm is pretty cool also.
I've had my curve for almost a year, I heard that Rogers has a brand new curve that looks like a smaller version to the bb Bold...so lets see how that one is.

I bought this over a week ago, and I know why they called this thing the Crackberry. I am addicted to this phone - it has all the features I need. I am SO much more organized and on top of things now that crackberry came into my life. I don't have to pull out my agenda book or find an internet cafe for my laptop to stay on top of things when I'm out on the road. Everything I need is in this smartphone. The only crappy thing is that I cannot view PDF attachments on emails...there seems to be something wrong with the zoom option.

It has so many amazing features:
    - schedule and organizer that you can set reminders to
    - memopads: if I'm ever out and discover something ...and don't have a pad and pen, I write it in my memo. I always lose those note scraps anyways....but now it's all saved on my memopad.
    - it also has a voice memo - so you can record notes
    - email notifications from my different email accounts. I don't have to go to my laptop in order to respond to my clients.
    - a GPS system that is a lifesaver for me. I take it out on the road everywhere I go!

I love this blackberry. It has everything I need and after a day it was easy to use. Just load the software on your computer and plug in the phone. It does everything for you. It loads your contacts, pictures and ringtones for you.

I can't live without this. It is my first smart phone and I don't know how I survived before. I can answer all of my emails and sync with my laptop. The only thing I don't like is that my sent items don't copy to my email so I can go back and check what I've sent. Since I get about 400 or so emails a day that is important so I can remember which ones I've already responded to. I'm still figuring out how to use it exactly. Battery lifetime is really decent and the built in camera takes decent pictures.

I bought the silicon case for $20 (get it for much cheaper online) you can get for this and that has been a huge life saver since I am clumsy and drop my phone several times a week ;) I highly recommend this and that you get the silicon case to protect it.
