I got one of these for Christmas and we used it to go night walking on a dirt road in the middle of a storm. I'm so happy we had them because the cars could see us from a mile away. It is a wonderful little gadget to keep in the car in emergencies.

I got these as a gift from my sister in law who is a camping fanatic. It is so great for all those outdoor at night walks to the bathroom or even reading a book, It is so bright can even be worn just to keep a little light in the campground. I have used these many many times and find that they are so handy to have. so even if your sitting around and someone walks by they flip on. Which is pretty cool.

This is a great headlamp, which I used to see the small details on a model I was building at my desk, since my lighting there is pretty poor. It really helped me focus on the intricate details. It's great that there are various light settings as the brightest light is very bright and I actually needed the lowest setting. There's also a 'flash' mode, which would be really handy for signalling or in an emergency.

You can choose a red light or a white light, but the neatest feature by far is the motion sensor. Press either the 'white' light button or the 'red' one and hold for three seconds and the light will turn green. It can then read when a hand is moved in front of it and turns on and off accordingly.

I did find the buttons were quite firm and had to be pressed reasonably hard, so I wouldn't recommend this if you have arthritis or problems in your hands, but for everyone else it works great. Similarly, when you adjust the headlamp up and down it can feel a little stiff.

The headband is very comfortable and very elastic, it comfortably fit my medium sized head and stretched easily to a comfortable fit on my husband's 'large' head as well. I was super impressed that it came with batteries (A rarity these days) and branded Duracell batteries at that!

Very happy with this headlamp and it does everything it promises!
