    My first VR Headset

These glasses behave in a similar way to a pair of 3D goggles in that they display two images. Ordinary glasses show a single image but 3D and VR glasses contain polarised lenses which show two images, one per each eye. These images appear to give an illusion of depth.

This is the first time I've ever used a VR headset. Perhaps it had more to do with the 3D aspect but I have to admit, when I first tried these out they made me feel nauseous, however, after a few minutes of fine-tuning the settings for my eyesight, it was pretty fun. I downloaded a few VR apps from the play store and for the games I used, I had to tilt my head downwards to begin the adventure (I'm too embarrassed to tell you how long that took me to figure out lol)

Both the top and sides of this headset are easily adjustable with velcro straps for the perfect fit and are quite comfortable wear, there is thick soft padding around the eyes and there was enough room in the headset to wear comfortably wear my glasses.
Included in the box is a manual and lens cleaning cloth.
My cell phone clipped into the headset easily.

As beginner VR headsets go, this one isn't bad, but it's certainly not the best either. Plastic VR headsets like this work by having you out your phone into the front and then strapping the whole thing onto your head. This allows you to experience some basic VR games, 360 videos, and other simple VR experiences. This headset does work well enough for all of those things, but I don't know that it's really worth the cost compared to the extremely cheap cardboard alternatives.

The first problem is the strap. The headset comes preassembled, which is great, with a trio of eleastic straps that you use to attach the headset to your face. But the straps have a bad habit of sliding up and are not very comfortable. The area where you rest your eyes is also surprisingly tight, despite the padding, and anyone with glasses will not be able to use this product at all, so be aware of that.

The next problem is that the area where you place your phone is surprisingly difficult to use. Most of the time this area is foolproof, but with this headset I actually had to use two hands just to strap my phone in. Once you do get the headset on, you'll also find that the plastic headset, while very well built and stylish, is surprisingly heavy and weighs down on your head while in use.

Finally, the main advantage this device is the remote that it comes with. It includes four buttons for various actions as well as an analogue stick for games and for fast forwarding and rewinding mvoies. It's easy to set up and works well, but a major issue is that the four buttons have no raised markings, so when you are actually wearing the headset you cannot tell which is which by touch alone.

All in all, this device does what it promises and works well, but comfort and ease of use are lacking.

    Pros

    - Well built headset

    - Easy to set up

    - Remote allows for adjustments without taking the headset off

    Cons

    - Straps slide off head

    - Remote buttons not raised for use without looking at them

    - Difficult to put phone into the headset

    - Heavier than would be comfortable
