Very effective for removing tough cuticle or cleaning nails that have been neglected for a while.
Unfortunately it is very runny and does not stay in place. I use a Q-tip to apply it, and hold the tip a few seconds longer where i know i have problem cuticle. You can also use an old polish bottle and apply with the polish brush. Then use a cuticle pusher, orange stick, or metal scraper to gently move the cuticle and release it from the nail.
You also need to work quickly, or do only one nail at a time. The bottle says it is safe, but PLEASE don't soak your fingers or toes in it - you will get a chemical burn, it has potassium hydroxide as one of the main ingredients. (That's when your skin starts to feel progressively more tingly...)
Has no smell.
If you only do your own nails, probably a good idea to buy a smaller bottle, because it lasts a very long time.
