Good sunscreen but leaves a white cast
It’s a good sunscreen. It does what it’s supposed to do. I usually have sensitive skin on my face and had no issues. It’s very thick. It does leave a strong white cast, so if your complexion is darker you will have a lot of difficulty blending it in. It’s long lasting and waterproof.
Solid mineral sunscreen!
A much more liquid texture than I was expecting, but that meant it was easier to spread and absorb! It's also got a white cast, but not too too strong, and I didn't experience any issues with stinging or drying out when applied to the face. Makeup also applied easily on top of it, and it wasn't so greasy that my whole face slid off after a few hours (but I wasn't out in direct sun for hours). Would probably recommend if you're going to be out and need to reapply without a mirror!
Great sun protection for sensitive skin
This stuff is awesome good for the environment and good for your skin, but it goes on really white and thick but just know that that’s how natural sunscreen works so you gotta give it a minute. Tube goes a long way.
It’s a good sunscreen
It’s definitely a good sunscreen. Usable in water, reef safe, spf 50. My issue with it is that it leaves a white cast. I’m a medium to tan skinned person and when I put this sunscreen on it immediately makes me look grey. I also feel like it’s too thick on the skin(tbh I could have over looked that if it wasn’t for the white cast). The formula is runny so it’s easy to use on the body.
Amazing coverage
I absolutely love being able to test out this product. For context I used it on my six month old baby in the summertime, which has very very fair skin. I found the coverage, and duration of effectiveness of very well.
Love
I always choose mineral sunscreen and this one was great. We haven't had any hot sunshine recently so I can't speak to the effectiveness against the sun rays itself. It feels gentle on my skin and not overly greasy. I would purchase this in the future.
Works well
I would love if the weather could cooperate so I can try out the Blue Lizard sunscreen in actual sun. It is a mineral sunscreen with a great consistency. It absorbed very easily but it does look a bit oily after. I only use it on my body so it worked well. I also like how it is safe for reefs and corals. The cap also changes color when exposed to UV which is super cool!
Glowy, satin finish!
I adore so many aspects of this sunscreen, and it's no wonder it's an Allure award recipient. As someone who favors mineral sunscreens, I'm delighted to discover one that offers broad spectrum SPF 50 coverage without leaving a white cast. Its water resistance for up to 80 minutes and a fragrance-free formula is a definite plus. Definitely noteworthy, it doesn't irritate my eyes. Plus, it leaves behind a lovely, glowy satin finish. Admittedly, there's a bit of greasiness, and it does take awhile to fully absorb. Overall, it's a definite keeper, and I'll be sure to pack it on my next trip!
Exactly what it claims to be
I haven't put this sunscreen to a full intense test as the sun has barely shown itself since I got it but I am quite happy with it! Nice to use and, while this probably shouldn't matter, I do like the look of the bottle.
I love this brand!
Blue Lizard is my brand of choice. I use this for my baby (the baby version) and my husband and I use the sunscreen for sensitive skin. My husbands skin tone is very delicate and he burns easily! This sunscreen is great! I also love how it feels on my skin. It is easy to absorbe and I feel very protected.
