Not bad one bit!

I have often seen the Bue Lizard SPF 50 for sensitive skin in store but never purchased but thanks to Butterly, I was able to try!

There is no discernible scent which is exactly what you want when purchasing/trying a product for sensitive skin.

At almost my mid-30's I'm realizing now how important skin care is. I've been using this all week as a primer before makeup. It blends smoothly, leaves no white residue and no stickiness.

Now that the weather is nicer here in Canada im going to able to get some good use out of this as a sunscreen as well!

Price point is bang on as well.

Oily and white cast

This sunscreen was not my cup of tea. It left a heavy white cast that wouldn't go away even after rubbing it in for a while, and even then, the more you try to rub it into your skin, the greasier the sunscreen go on your face. It was not possible to put on makeup with the sunscreen if you used it for the face. Using it for the body might work, but again, you'll have to live with the white cast that it leaves and it's noticeable. I believe the sunscreen is effective in blocking the sun but it feels awful on the skin, so I will not be using it except when I go to the beach and I don't care that I have a noticeable white cast on my body.

It makes me feel like I'm by the sea

I received a free product to try. I'm allergic to sun so I have to put sunscreen (high SPF) all the time. I have tried many. I like the texture of this product, it's easy to apply and spread. It's not too thick and has very smooth texture. I put it on in the morning and it's good for at least until afternoon. The scent! it's not too strong, it's not bothering. It reminds me of the sea and being by the beach. Plus, it has minearls in it. I really enjoy it a lot!

Great product

This sunscreen is great! No greasy feeling. Absorbs into the skin so nicely you can hardly tell you’re wearing it. Not really any smell so great for sensitive skin. Wonderful product. Helps protect your skin from the harmful UV rays.

A great sunscreen!

The Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen is an absolute summer must have. It applies like a nice lotion and works into the skin well, and has very little scent. I'm absolutely going to the throwing this in the beach bag!

Best sunscreen I've ever used!

Feels good, white cast

I really wanted to love this sunscreen, since it's not easy to find a mineral sunscreen that is SPF 50. I like it OK, and would use it when I need stronger protection, but it's not my favourite. The texture is nice, it comes out quite runny out of the tube, but feels thicker on the face. It rubs in well and I don't feel it much on the skin. However, when I use the recommended amount it leaves a white cast, even on my really pale skin. It gets slightly better after a while, but definitely makes me look ghostly. Luckily, make up goes over it quite well, so I can back some colour to my face. The combination of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide is great, as this sunscreen doesn't dry out my skin like pure zinc oxide ones do. I'm pretty sure this is unscented, since I didn't notice any scent and it's made for sensitive skin. In short, I would recommend it, but expect some white cast.

Great sun protection!

I am super impressed with this sunscreen! I received this product free from Butterly for testing purposes and am so happy to have discovered this brand! I am very prone to sunburns so having a higher spf was perfect for me, and I find that mineral based works best for my skin. I loved the smooth texture of this sunscreen and it absorbed in seconds without feeling greasy or leaving any white cast. I found that this product was extremely gentle on my sensitive skin and I love that it is for broad spectrum protection, so I feel completely protected. My skin felt nourished after each use and it had great lasting power plus it’s waterproof so I don’t have to reapply as often! This is a great product for the whole family and I definitely recommend it!
