No Grey Cast

As a brown skin girl, my biggest concern when using mineral sunscreen is the grey cast and let me let you, with this sunscreen there is none! yay! Also, I like that is it fragrance free so my sensitive skin did not break out. I can see why this was Allure Beauty Fav because this product has become part of my daily routine very quickly.

Loving this SPF

So guys, let me tell you how wonderful this SPF 50 sunscreen lotion is! It has a very light rate and beautiful texture that goes on very nicely on my face. it barely has any smell and I like that it doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast!

Perfect for Summer Vacations

My go to for summer and tropical vacations. Reef safe and so effective. I love the colour changing packaging that tells me to reapply sunscreen throughout the day.

Disclosure: I received this product for free to try in return for my honest opinion. I also received this in March, and as a Canadian, I admit we don't get much sun this time of year! So admittedly, my review can't say much against the actual effectiveness of keeping my very pale skin from looking like a lobster, but I can fill you in on everything else! Truthfully, from what I'm seeing of the package, I'm trusting it'll keep my Casper colouring from changing to "Venetian Red"!

First off, there's practically no scent, so that's nice. I want it to be practical without smelling fancy or even like, well, like sunscreen sometimes does. That's a bonus! It also doesn't leave an oily residue after!

Next up: They make their product with safer ingredients! It's mineral based instead of chemical, and contains no oxybenzone and no octinoxate - two chemicals thought to be contributing to the destruction of the reefs! I LOVE companies that try to do their part to help the environment! To make it even that much better, this all means that this sunscreen is not only going to work for me, but my entire family! It's safe to use on children 6 months and up. That's fabulous! My youngest is just over a year, so I'm thrilled I only need to bring ONE sunscreen instead of two. This is a huge plus in my books and makes me exceptionally happy.
Seriously, the things you get excited about when you're a parent.

Lastly: The packaging. It's somewhat simple, explains right on the front what it protects from and the SPF, of course, as well as the cool looking lizard on the side! It's just enough detail to bring your attention to it without being over the top.

Overall: 10/10 recommend this! I'll be able to recommend it even more thoroughly when the sun is hot enough to bake my cookies inside my car!

A good mineral sunscreen

I like I can use it on my face or body. It's also a very good suncreen when you think about all the sustainibility benefits of it. I would definitively use it for summer days at the beach or ourdoor pool.

Works but has a white cast

This sunscreen works as described. I like that it has SPF50 and does the job in blocking out the sun and protecting my skin. It is also a plus that it's a mineral sunscreen with no harsh chemicals. However, there is a very significant white cast to this product that make me unable to wear it unless I mix it with a cream to thin it out. This may work for lighter skin tones.

Award winning, cult classic - A must have!

As a strawberry blonde with a fair complexion sunscreen is a must have product for me year round. I was excited to try the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen for sensitive skin. As an ingredient conscious person, I look for products with more natural ingredients. So, when I am shopping for a sunscreen, mineral based is at the top of my list of requirements. This Blue Lizard sunscreen goes on smooth, easily works in (no white splotches here!), and keeps my skin protected from harmful UVA/UVB rays. I will definitely be using this sunscreen as we move into spring and summer. #gotitfree

So far I’ve loved it I have eczema and it didn’t irritate my skin it doesn’t feel too greasy or heavy it’s perfect also it’s water resistant which is a plus point especially for those days at the beach
