Blue lizard spf 50 sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen so this type will leave bit of white cast. It did help protect my skin from getting sunburned and I would reapply to my face and body after couple hours. It does take bit of time for the sunscreen to settle in, bit oily on my face throughout the day but no breakouts.
The color changing cap is an innovative feature as a reminder to reapply when it becomes purple and gets darker indicative of the strong UV rays.

Great for vacation

I was so excited to try the Blue lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50.
This mineral sunscreen has Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide to protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays without the use of potentially irritating chemical active ingredients.
This sunscreen didn’t irritate my skin or eyes I cant wait to use on my upcoming vacation. Great for doing beach activities as of swimming and sweating while tanning or playing volleyball for 80 minutes. I dont like worrying about applying sunscreen often do this is perfect. Plus the clean ingredients. I am so glad I finally got to try it out because this will always come on vacation with or be used in the summer with all activities I loved to do.

Will buy again

Yup. I will buy this one again. I got it for free to try but it is exactly what I’ve been needing. I ALWAYS breakout from sunscreens. My sensitive skin is piiiiiiicky. This is one of the few sunscreens that actually work for me. I wear it daily under my makeup. I am converted. 4 stars only because it is a bit pricey, but worth it to not have breakouts.

So very excited to have tried the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen's Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen! I was happy that the sunscreen is SPF 50+ since I think anything below does not work well for the Canadian summers that are hotter than we realized. I have heard a lot of great things about this mineral sunscreen, and it for sure did not disappoint! What I liked the most was the fact that it was fairly thin compared to other mineral sunscreens that go on cakey and leave your skin clogged and unable to breathe. In fact, it absorbed so well into the skin that I even forgot it was a mineral sunscreen! A complete bonus that it is full spectrum (protects against UVA and UVB rays), and that it is safe to use on children and babies. Bring on the sun, because my family and I are protected!

white cast fear

I am sunscreen junkie and have spf 50 above but my problem is looking for sunscreen that doesn't have white cast even though its SPF 50+.
I recently tried Blue lizard which I #gotitfree I think this is popular because it had an award from allure so I was eager to try it. Also, it for sensitive skin which is okay for me.
However, my fear of white cast was confirmed when I first applied it. It takes minutes for it to settle down so i need to blend it and it takes time. Scent? well i think typical "no scent" neither I like it nor hate it. They also kinda greasy for me maybe because my skin now is a bit dry but i wouldn't wear it everytime.
its a bit of annoying to remove, I even used face scrub.

Long lasting effect

I like the sun screen because its not greasy, did not cause any skin irritations. I am alsp happy on the ease of spreading it all over the skin. The scent is ok and it not too much.. I love how the sweating don't take it all away

Protected for longer

I was gifted the Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50. With more sun finaly hitting our part of the world this came just in time. Easy to apply, no residue on the skin, protects very well, even when swimming or sweating. I reapplied each 2 hours, as I felt it cand go for 2 hours and it worked for me. I love it, definetly recommend as I was super protected, and will continue to buy.

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen’s Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen is like a superhero cape for your skin.
Great feel on skin upon application. Good UV Armour with SPF 50+. I love that it is also sweat and water resistance, like aquaman of sunscreen. I would definetly recommend this product. - Happy customer

Great For Sensitive Skin

I always struggle with sunscreen because my skin can sometimes be sensitive to sunscreen. I did not have that issue with this product. I also think you can tell it’s made with much more natural products than traditional sunscreens which could also explain why I had no sensitivity with this product. I also found that it absorbed into my skin fairly well so when my face got sweaty it didn’t run into my eyes and make them burn. I really enjoyed this product and have already stocked up on more for the summer ahead!
