    Great SPF

It is great product. "I've been using this sunscreen for a few weeks now and I'm quite pleased with it. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a greasy residue. Plus, it provides good protection from the sun. My only minor gripe is that it could be a bit more moisturizing, but overall, it's a solid product."

Sunscreen Savior: Blue Lizard SPF 50

Hey fellow sensitive skin peeps! Let me tell you about my new go-to sunscreen: Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50.

First off, this stuff is a game-changer for sensitive skin. No nasty chemicals or fragrances—just zinc oxide goodness giving you SPF 50 broad-spectrum protection. Plus, it goes on like a dream, no greasy feeling or white cast.

I've been using it for a while now, and I've gotta say, it's been a lifesaver. No redness, no irritation, just solid protection even on long days out in the sun. And the best part? It's water-resistant, so no worries during pool days or hikes.

Oh, and let's talk about the Smart Bottle tech—turns blue in UV light, reminding you to reapply. Genius!

Overall, Blue Lizard SPF 50 is my new sunscreen BFF. Lightweight, effective, and gentle on the skin—what more could you ask for? Trust me, give it a shot, and your skin will thank you!

    Holy Grail of Sunscreen

I use this sunscreen on my face - specifying because I'm seeing some reviewers imply they use it mostly on their body. I have sensitive and dry skin. I am also sensitive to fragrances. I've had mild irritation and reactions to chemical sunscreens in particular, causing my skin to get extra dry and start to peel, and perfumes would make my nose and eyes water.

I almost don't want to review this sunscreen because its so great; I want it to stay my little secret. This is a mineral sunscreen. I find the texture is thin and blends in very easily if you rub. There is no pilling on top of my moisturizers and serums, and it reapplies nicely without pilling as well!

The finish is very matte, not shiny or greasy. To me it feels like a primer. It doesn't smell much like sunscreen either!

Yes, there is a white cast. But this is difficult to avoid with mineral sunscreens, and to me is a small price to pay for excellent sun protection. I'm not exactly pale (slightly tanned asian skin) and don't find its the most noticeable - I also don't really take photos of myself so I wouldn't know if it shows a lot on camera. I don't wear a lot of skin makeup over my sunscreen, but I do find that concealer blends well on top of this.

I have no complaints about this sunscreen. One thing to be mindful of is the texture is very thin and watery, which is great on the face, but you may not want to stand the sunscreen up as the product will flow out into the cap. I will be repurchasing this very often in the future. Also, it would be cool to try a tinted version of this but you can't have everything you want :)

Update: I brought this sunscreen to Portugal with me in June, while the sun was on full blast. Reusing this on my face saved me from morphing into a lobster. My bf also agreed that this sunscreen was the best out of all that we tried, in terms of texture and sun protection. I should have brought a whole checked bag of this sunscreen.

    Favourite sunscreen!

    My family loves this sunscreen!
I have been purchasing this sunscreen for the last 3 summers, it doesn’t leave your skin greasy, it stays on strong even after swimming. I started buying it because it has all 3 dermatologist recommended ingredients for a sunscreen. Australian made and safe for the reef and water!

    Great for sensitive skin

This sunscreen is a great option for sensitive skin, as it’s very hydrating and soothing. I appreciate that it has 50 spf. Since it is a mineral sunscreen it does have a bit of a white cast and is very shiny, but I don’t mind when I’m using it on the beach. It’s great for the whole family! Would buy again.

    Good consistency

It has neither too runny or too thick. It is easy to apply and does not leave a severe white cast. Definitely will use everyday especially in summer. No weird scent
