A lifesaver in the newborn stage

This is absolutely one of my favourite baby “gear” items and I think is a must have for every mom! I regret not having discovered this with my first baby. It literally made life so much easier. Baby #2 pretty much lived in this wrap for her first 2 months. She was so snug and cosy, and I was able to go about my day with a content baby. I tried another competing brand wrap, but the fabric wasn’t as stretchy which was a minus for me. The Boba has stretchier fabric which makes it so much easier to maneuver the baby in and out, yet still be very snug on your body. I recommend this as a must have to all my new mom friends.

Perfect for newborns

I love this and have used it for all of my babies. It is so comfortable I have hiked carrying my baby in it! Super easy to use and even looks cute! I would recommend this to any new mommy

A decent product -- but careful with season!

The Boba Wrap is actually a good product, but it has its limitations. I purchased this for myself, while I bought the Ergobaby for my husband to use. At first when I received the Boba and took it out of the box, it was very intimidating. The wrap itself is extremely long, but after a few tries and a few youtube videos, I got the hang of it -- and it literally takes me a minute to wrap it properly and ensure that it is secure.

The limitations? While the wrap is really good for Autumn and Winter seasons, and perhaps cool days in the Spring, because of its material (quite thick actually), it may be too warm to keep my baby for long periods of time (especially when I'm trying to do things at home with him on my chest). I end up sweating, and the sweat ends up on the side of his face!

Is it a good product? Pretty decent, but I know I won't be using this during the warmer days of the year!

J'ai cette écharpe depuis la naissance de mon bébé qui a aujourd'hui presque 14mois et depuis le début on l'utilise quasi quotidiennement. Elle est géniale et permet d'apprendre le nouage facilement pour les novices comme moi.
Son avantage: on peut la jouer avant de mettre bébé. C'est pratique. Par exemple je la met avant de partir, je la garde sur moi en voiture et lorsque j'arrive a destination plus qu'à mettre bébé contre moi.
La qualité est top, elle ne s'abîme pas malgré les nombreux lavages en machine.

Saved us from countless meltdowns

At about 1 month old, if my daughter as really over tired I could not put her down. The boba came in so handy. I'd wrap myself up, put her in and then do squats and she would instantly calm down.

It was extremely hard for me to figure out from the instruction book exactly how it should be wrapped. So I looked it up on youtube and was able to figure it out.

As for going out somewhere. It is very awkward to try and wrap it around yourself while out in public. I found that If I put it on before going out, I was prepared incase of a screaming fit while walking around a store.

Worth it

I have had my boba wrap for nearly 4 years now. It has been used with two children and still in great condition. With our first I used it on occasion but loved when I did. With our second I use it so much more. I guess maybe the dynamics of having a preschooler who loves to be outdoors helps with the use. We use it all the time for walks and field trips with my oldest's daycare group. We had the best use for it on the second night in hospital with our second. Everyone is briefed on the second night but never given ideas on how to comfort baby. We used the boba wrap to help keep our newborn snug and safely on our chests in case we fell asleep. The design for the boba wrap isn't just for one gender. It is easily wearable by both and is extremely comfortable when put on. It takes the shape of the wearer's body. I can rave more about this but I think I have made my point. Love this wrap and can't wait to use it with our third baby one day.

So hard to put on! I hear the Baby K'tan is easier to use since it comes with a pre-structured format. I'd recommend trying that over the Boba.. when the baby is crying and you can't figure it out, this is not a fun scenario to deal with!

I bought this product after reading numerous reviews online and thought it would be great for me.
I was wrong. I found it confined my baby way too much and made us both super hot. I do not think the price (50.00) was worth the product I receieved which was basically a very long piece of fabric. The wrap is so long it makes it extremely difficult to put on in public or at home for that matter. I found it awkward to get my baby into and the instructions were difficult to follow.
