Beautiful Colours, Not Long-Lasting

The colours are beautiful and the feel after applying is nice. The taste was a bit too chemical and it transferred far too easily. I would be afraid to wear a bright colour for fear it would get all over my face. I also find the price extremely high.

Goes on smooth but lacked the shine

The colour I picked up didn’t end up wowing me the way I had hoped. I was anticipating a greater shine but it fell short. It went on nicely and not wet but I was hoping it would have been glossier!
I still have to test the “red the news” - hoping it goes better!

Not a fan

First of all I would not spend $42 for this product. I am not a big fan of colors on my lips. I prefer light lipbalms that are sheer. I also found the minute this went on my lips it dried them up and also went all over my teeth. I will not use this product but I am sure my friends will love it so will give it away

Not for me

I was really excited to try this but it just wasn’t for me unfortunately. The shade I received was camisole which was way too light for my skin tone, it just didn’t look good on me at all. I thought the colour looked fake on my lips but perhaps in a different shade it would look better. It wasn’t shiny like I expected and felt a little thick on my lips even when I tried to apply just a small amount of product. At this price I’m just not impressed enough to try another shade but I am still happy to have had a chance to try this out as part of the #chickadvisorshowcase.

This was not my fortè

I will be completely & entirely honest! Out of all the items in the #chickadvisorshowcase kit, I was most excited to try the Bobbi Brown lipstick, and out of all the items this has got to be the most disappointing... it doesn't stay on your lips but it does stain everything you touch & it sticks to your teeth. This lip product does not last any longer than it says or half the amount of time of 8 hours!
For the price tag of this lipstick, I expected it to be nothing but fabulous! I am afraid this is most likely one of the worst lipsticks I have ever owned. It did have a plumping effect thought I'll admit I have pretty thin lips. Unfortunately the color I received is also a color that I don't wear, and didn't really match my skin colour so I would never buy this product unless they came out with more shades then I would give a second chance and I would think about it again. This just wasn't a product for me.

I just can't stand this product

I was excited when I first got this lip product. The colour is pretty (Camisole), the packaging is luxurious and heavy. It is also long wearing, although it never completely dries down and transfers. The applicator is oddly shaped and dispenses way too much product. The lip product's formula is thick to begin with so it works best if applied in a thin layer. It is shiny upon application, but when you blot to remove the excess product, it becomes matte. So the High shine is gone. The scent is also very strong, as is usually the case with pricey lip product. I would never pay $42 for such a lip product. Sorry Bobbi Brown. I expected way more from you.
