When I received this cellulite defense gel-cream by Body Merry, the smell was strong, but not as strong as some other cellulite creams. It was very minty.

This cream does have a more gel like form until you touch it, then it's more liquid and slightly runny. Other cellulite creams are extremely runny that I've tried.

Not a lot of the cream is needed to put on. Small amounts spread far. The cream absorbs into the skin quickly, and tingles a bit when it's on. It's not a bad tingle, it just tickles a little bit for the first few minutes for me.
