My son spent time in the NICU when he was first born and was given breastmilk by bottle. Once he was released from the NICU he didn't understand how to go directly onto the breast. After 2 weeks of trying and being told not to use anything else because it would cause nipple confusion. I broke down and got a few different pacifiers. He took right to the Born Free product. It worked so well that he had no confusion and never drank from the bottle after that. He would go right for the nipple. So I would say to mothers try whatever is best for you......oh and Born free is the best out there!
