Supposed to be either a face mask that you leave on for 10-12 minutes and then blot off after, or you can wear it as a moisturizer and not wash it off. If I have really dry skin, this doesn't provide long term results but is a good pick me up for my dry skin if I need something quick. The results are not long lasting though and partially feels like the lotion is just sitting on my face, not really absorbing
