Boscia luminizing black mask
I like the concept of peeling mask because it really feels like the mask dries and grabs onto your dead skin and you remove it leaving a glowy effect (fresh skin). It is thick in formula. However, it causes a little tingling on the skin (not too big of a fan on that part). The wait time is 30 mins probably because you apply a thick layer. The smell it emits is kind of unpleasant. I think it was forced to be a neutral smell but I can still smell something slightly like chemicals. After peeling, skin does look more bright and feels super smooth. I'm just not sold on the smell.
Okay product,
I found that it didn't removed my blackheads, only a couple. It mostly removed my the hairs off my face. And for the cost, which is almost $50, it's just not worth it to me. There are many more cheaper ones that do the same.
This was honestly a bit disappointing given all of the hype about it. It does not remove all your blackheads even remotely close to the way their page advertises. It does however make your face feel very nice and soft and clean. Its not all bad its just not what it advertises.
I love how this works cleans my skin right up I do it at least once a week. Love love love it there no smell to it it's really thick easy to put on I got all my Friends to use it too
Not a fan of this mask. This pricey mask has to be very liberally applied to make it peel-able. It is also not super easy to peel unless it is liberally applied. It can also get quite messy.
Unfortunately, I did not see much change to my pores even immediately after removing the mask. The only real positive was that my skin felt slightly smoother.
I think this product is alright. It helps clear my pores, doesn't remove all the blackheads but I do notice my pores looking clean. The price though is on the hefty side and I feel like I could find a cheaper alternative that does the exact same thing.
The good thing is, after this dries and you pull it off, as long as you put a decent amount on, not a lot of product is left on your face when you peel it off. Overall it's nice, but it doesn't make me want to run out and repurchase when I run out.
This mask was meh on my sensative combination skin. You need a lot of product to make it actually peal off after the 30min dry time. My skin felt and looked no real difference after. It was also very messy. I have used some drugstore masks that worked better at reducing clogged pores and removing dry/dull skin.
The idea behind it is pretty great: you get to spot check your black heads... but practically, it doesn't work so well. I would wash my face before using it - exfoliating to make sure as much dead skin cells as possible are removed - but in the end, the product doesn't do what it is supposed to: remove the black heads. After removing the mask, I still have to go and remove the black heads myself.
I was having a dreary Monday until I got home and tried this mask. It’s a peel-off mask that is supposed to instantly boost skin clarity and radiance. Peeling crap off your face is fun and oddly satisfying.
As with all of its products, Boscia is preservative-free and rich in natural clays, minerals and extracts. I have not tried a peel off mask since my horrifying Biore incident*.
Since then, I still experience flashbacks and nightmares and other PTSD symptosm when I see Biore products or hear the word heat or mask. Of course I’m also wiser and more selective with products, and know that the test patch is my best friend.
Seeing as I was already familiar with this preservative-free skincare line, I decided to buy the mask. It's like shiny, silky black satin. So cool.
As instructed I put on a nice even layer. It dried in less than ten minutes. Sadly, it wasn’t easy to peel off. I was expecting a few swift motions but instead it was coming off bit by bit.
While it removed impurities and dead skin cells, the mask was more of a wash-off than a peel-off.
Skip it.
