Ouch

This is a peel off mask that claims luminosity. My experience with this mask is pure torture. It goes on very thick and takes awhile to dry down. It dries like cement and it is difficult to find a spot to start peeling it off. Brace yourself, this mask proceeds to pull up all the baby hairs off your face by the root. If you've ever tried a nose strip imagine that but 10 times the ouch. It can be painful but very satisfying when you see what the mask pulled up from your pores. My face gets very red and very hot immediately afterward. You will need to wash off any little bits left on your face. I use a cooling toner for that and it calms my skin down in the process . I use this mask weekly and the odd time a pimple will present within hours - I figure this is a good thing rather than having it fester deep in the pores. Some other products I use in my skin routine leave dry flaky skin behind for days, this mask takes care of that. I don't know where the luminizing part comes from - I haven't see that result. I think this mask is great for providing a smooth surface for makeup.

Over hyped.

There was a lot of hype around this product so got myself to try it finally. Ads show it on the entire face but apparently its only supposed to be used for the nose, forehead, and cheek areas. If you have even a little amount of hair on your hair it will put it and hurt. Results were not that great and smells really chemically. I did exfoliate before using it as a consultant recommended but same little to no results.

Great exfoliating mask

I tried this mask as a sample, I loved it so much that I purchased it from Sephora. This mask goes on very thick and stings a little. When it dries it feels tight on the skin. Peeling it off for the first time was tricky because I didn’t put enough on the edges so I could pull it off. It does hurt a bit but once the mask is peeled off you can actually see the dried dead skin in the mask and your skin is so soft and smooth. It worth a try!

This worked wonders for me

I love this mask! I received it as a free sample with my most recent Sephora order. It is thick and gel-like. It is to be worn for about half an hour until it’s completely dry. Then the fun part - peeling it off! I love how I could see the stuff coming out of my pores and off my face on the mask after I peeled it off. Did not irritate my sensitive skin at all.

Beware if sensitive...

I love me a good peel-off mask, but really struggled removing this one. (Which is usually my favourite part!)

The mask felt amazing going on. Loved the thick formula and skin felt tingly (in a good way) while it was drying.

When it came time to remove the mask, it was pretty painful. Like removing a stubborn bandaid that wouldn’t come off. I was also left with some black residue that made it look like I had lots of blackheads, so I gently used some micellar water to clean up the mess.

I’m glad I just had a sample packet.

Beauty is pain!

I love this mask so much. It gets rid of all facial hair, dry skin, and blackheads. It goes on very easily and washes off easily. Peeling it off is so satisfying! I love how matte it looks while it is on my face. It does hurt to peel off, but if you rip fast it's okay.

Really like! But very expensive

I really liked this mask! It felt luxurious, and made my skin feel wonderful. It was in a nice squeezey tube packaging, which is my favourite to avoid contamination. It is easily available on Sephora. But it is too expensive in my opinion and I won't be repurchasing it because of the price!

Boscia luminizing black mask

I like the concept of peeling mask because it really feels like the mask dries and grabs onto your dead skin and you remove it leaving a glowy effect (fresh skin). It is thick in formula. However, it causes a little tingling on the skin (not too big of a fan on that part). The wait time is 30 mins probably because you apply a thick layer. The smell it emits is kind of unpleasant. I think it was forced to be a neutral smell but I can still smell something slightly like chemicals. After peeling, skin does look more bright and feels super smooth. I'm just not sold on the smell.

Pretty good

I received a sample and so far, I like it! This peel off mask helps deep cleanse your pores. It works for both dry, oily and combo skin. It does tend to hurt a bit when peeling it off, but the results you will see are worth it.
