Sticky and tight

This primer is not at all what I expect to get out of my primer. It is sticky and tight is soon as it goes on. Even seems to leave a slight white cast on the face. It has to be set with the translucent powder before applying any make up on top. This seems to defeat the purpose of the primer. It has a slight medicinal smell.
