I love this makeup. I was using Boots No7 but can't get in Canada and found this about the same. I will be buy again. The color match is just what I was looking for not having to buy two to match my skin.
This foundation is amazing! The best I've found so far. The consistency is perfect and it has fantastic coverage. Blends flawlessly!
For the first time in my life, I have been suffering from dry skin. This winter was particularly brutal in Ottawa and my skin really took a beating. I was finding that my old go-to foundations weren't sitting well anymore on my skin - they would cling to any dry patches. I tried using heavier moisturizers before applying foundation, but the dry patches would poke through as the day went on. At the recommendations of a youtuber, essibutton, I tried the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. Funnily enough, I already had it in my "stash" of foundations, so it was a simple switch up from my usual Neutrogena Healthy Skin to the Bourjois one. I was so happy I made the change. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation glides so effortless over my skin, including my dry patches, and it stays on all day. It's nearly undetectable to the naked eye, which is one feature that is a MUST for me in any foundation. It's so easy to blend into the skin, I've applied it using fingers, a brush, and a beauty blender sponge, all have resulted in a flawless face. I do need apply concealer after over any dark spots or blemishes. The coverage of this foundation is leaning more to the lighter finish end of the light-to-medium spectrum. The only big concern with this product is that it's difficult to find (only sold at Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada, and even then, not all locations carry bourjois) and the shade range is wretched (only 5 shades, catering mostly to pale caucasian folk). If you have dry skin, I would recommend this foundation.
I was immediately drawn to this foundation because it is a gel foundation that contains a serum with vitamin and antioxidant enriched fruits which supposedly help to reduce signs of fatigue. It also promises to keep up for 16 hours! At about $30, it's pricier than other drugstore brands but less than a high end Sephora product. You're supposed to see a more radiant complexion in 4 weeks of using this product and it hasn't been that long, but I can speak to other qualities in this product. It is quite moisturizing, not heavy and lets your skin breathe. It is pretty decent coverage too. I found that it really glides on smoothly. Its very easy to apply and isn't patchy or streaky.
This is a medium coverage foundation that is very easy to blend. As usual I use my finger to apply the foundation and am able to skip concealer on most days. The foundation has a very light fruity scent which I don't mind. The color match is pretty decent (I am shade 54 - NC 25-30). I like how light the texture is and you cannot feel it on your skin at all.
On my combination skin, it lasts about 6 - 8 hours with setting powder. What I really like is that my T zone does not get oily with this foundation.
The price is a bit steep in Canada (versus Europe) - I paid $28 at Shoppers.
My skin is not so bad, but I have a few discoloration on the cheeks.
I like how it is lightweight and still has a good coverage. I also like the fruity smell of it! The Healthy mix range contains various fruit ingredients claiming all different things:
Apricot-radiance
Melon-hydration
Apple-anti-oxidant
Ginger-energy
Well I cannot say about the energy part! But my skin looks great!
