Quirky design

I received this product free to review from chickadvisor at the #cinqasept event. The unique design as far as I know is the first-of-its-kind. You can twist the wand to a full size length or you can twist it back to a mini size brush. This product has a 24-hour long-wear capability. I did have it on for about 10 hours and it did stay on all day. I do however prefer a fatter brush as I found that this mascara did not make my lashes as thick and long as I would have liked. I would recommend this mascara to my friends and family because of the ability to make it what length you would like it. It's great for your upper and lower lashes. It’s good, but not the best

I got this product for free from the Chickadvisor event. This is my first Bourjois product that I have ever tried. The packaging is cool, as for the product it’s good. It provides definite length to eye lashes, my lashes were almost reaching till my brow bone. The mascara is not the blackest, you have to layer it up, to get a good black colour on your lashes. I love my mascara to have that bold black colour. I think as I layered it up 3 to 4 times there was a little flaking situation, if you are not doing that then the mascara doesn’t flakes. It was very comfortable to remove the mascara with a cleansing balm. For me a good mascara is, if it applies flawlessly and is easy to remove also. It came out at once with cleansing balm, I didn’t have to tug or pull mascara out of my lashes. I am not sure about repurchasing the product yet, I have to try it out for longer period to be sure about it. I have thick lashes so I didn’t see any change in volume, but for people who have less lashes it will provide volume.

Dark intensity long lasting mascara

The Bourjois twist up the volume mascara is a long lasting all day use mascara. It provided great definition and intensity that I look for in mascaras. It did not smudge during use and provided all day wear that the product claims it can provide. It wasn’t as voluminous as I’d thought it to be but overall it provided a great look without the clumps !

Haven’t decided yet

I have a love hate for this mascara, I don’t like wearing lots of makeup or have the time during the week when I wake up. So I usually only have time for brows and mascara. The brush is very thin so you have to put a lot of layers to see volume or if you want thick lashes. This mascara is good if you want a natural look. I must say it did last me the whole day and did not melt! I was even watching a movie that made me tear and was still on so I would say great quality. Love that I received this for free but sorry I didn’t pay for it.

Works well, not amazing

The mascara formula itself works well, wasn’t clumpy and was thick enough to make my blonde lashes look normal. The twist brush doesn’t really interest me. I have other mascaras that I prefer, so I wouldn’t spend a lot to purchase this one.

Beautiful lashes

I am very picky when it comes to mascara but I also love getting to try different ones. I was quite pleased with this mascara. In the past I haven’t always been a fan of ones that have the rubber brushes but I found this one worked very well. You can twist the end to either have the brush be more straight for longer lashes or twisted for more curl. Personally I didn’t find the shape of the brush to make much difference but I was still very happy with how my lashes looked. It lasted throughout the day without flaking off and was easily removed with eye make up remover.

I rarely use mascara, however this twist for more volume is rather new to me. What a clever idea. Good for traveling to pump up the volume. I bet this is a product my daughter would want to buy.no need to reapply as it does the job it claims.

A 2-in-1 mascara

Usually you have to choose between lengthening OR volumizing in a mascara (except for the mascaras that claim to do both, although I do think they err on the side of volumizing), but not in this case.

The unique wand starts in the longer position for lengthening. An easy twist of the pink tip coils the brush down into a shorter position with the bristles much closer together for volumizing.

I have tried it both ways and found this mascara to be very effective in each case. The lengthening option is great for a daytime look (my preference), while the volumizing is perfect for more drama. And because you can twist as far in as you like, you can customize this completely. Want 25% length and 75% volume? This brush can do that. Too many times I've used a lengthening mascara that was too sparse in application, or a volumizing mascara that went on too thickly. This is a great compromise product.

Give it a try! You'll love the novelty of it, and when it comes right down to it, it's a pretty fantastic mascara all novelty aside!

Good Mascara

The Bourjois Twist Up the Volume Mascara 24 HR was a great product. It was easy and simple to use. The price point was steep and I didn't see a big enough difference to switch from my regular brand which is more economical. I liked the formula, brush and packaging. It's definitely worth trying out. Just a bit expensive for me.

A lengthener but not a lifter

I got this as a #freesample and to be honest, I was really excited to try the twist option but this mascara falls short on wowing me. I've used other brands like IT cosmestics, hour glass, etc. that really do give a lot of volume and lift + lengthening. This mascara falls short on the lift aspect but it does provide length and volume to your lashes if you apply at least 2 times.
