    Satisfies the craving

It's expensive, but Boursin is a quality brand so even their regular cheese is nit cheap. I got lucky and got a rebate on Checkout51, so it was affordable enough to take a chance on it. Now that I've tried it, I'll be looking for it at Costco.

I had it on a toasted everything bagel, and it was exactly what I was craving. It doesn't have exactly the same texture as real cream cheese, but it spreads nicely and has a good mouth-feel.

It's delicious, and I was shocked to read that it's coconut oil based. Usually coconut based dairy-free products have an undertone of coconut that can ruin the illusion, but I didn't notice it in this first taste. The texture does vaguely remind me of coconut oil, but just barely.

I've read that people use this in pasta and dips and stuff too. I could definitely see me tossing some in pasta with some veggies and maybe even chicken or shrimp, like a cream sauce. Maybe even put a blob of it on a steak or baked potato.

It's hard to find in-stock, but it's worth looking for!
