Strong construction and no slipping!
I’ve had mixed results with other laptop stands I’ve tried in the past. I use an Acer laptop which is about 15 inches long, and other stands I’ve tried have claimed to hold that size but did a poor job of it. This stand, in contrast, fits my laptop very comfortably and blew me away with how flexible and easy it is to use. Scroll to the bottom for a brief summary, or keep reading to get the whole review.
The anti-slip pads on the bottom of the stand and on the top (where your laptop rests) do a great job. The stand itself never slides around without serious effort, and my laptop has never once slipped. Even when raised up high and being jostled around by fast typing, it never budged at all. If I try to push the laptop off, the whole stand moves before the laptop does, which means nothing falls and nothing tips over. If you’re using a large tablet or a Surface computer, this is especially useful, as you will probably have the stand tilted pretty far forward for ease of use, and this should prevent any accidents from happening while you work.
The stand on its own is relatively lightweight, light enough to pack up in a backpack or bag if you want to take this with you on the go. The gap in the middle of the stand allows for ventilation, and there's no lip at the back of the stand if your laptop vents on the back instead of the bottom.
One thing that I was initially unsure of, but which I now appreciate, is how stiff the joints are. You control the height and angle on this stand by adjusting two different joints, one at the front and one at back. Between these two you can set your stand at virtually any height and angle you can imagine, even lifting your computer so high that it’s practically at eye level when it was previously at knee-height (if you're sitting). I often keep the stand flat but raised quite high up, but I appreciate the ability to adjust it to fit my needs in various situations.
The two joints are very stiff, usually requiring two hands, but after some practice, I learned how to adjust them more easily. I assume they’re stiff to prevent the stand from moving at all when in use. It probably means that this stand is not well-suited to those with weak muscles or physical disabilities though. Apart from being quite stiff, this stand is also sturdy, durable metal. If you're looking for a metal stand that will last well over time, this is the one.

Summary
--------------------
Overall, this stand was perfect for me, it fit my 15" laptop well, allowed me to raise it high and adjust it to any angle. Most importantly, it's a sturdy and durable metal and while it does feel a little stiff at first, it never once put my laptop in danger and stayed perfectly situated.
Pros:
+ Fit my laptop perfectly.
+ Anti-slip pads means both the laptop and the stand itself, never move or slide around.
+ Lightweight, despite metal construction.
+ Sturdy, made of metal.
+ Lots of ventilation/open areas for air to circulate.
+ Adjustable to extreme heights and angles.
Cons:
- Quite stiff to change position at first (not right for those with muscle weakness), but this also means it doesn't fall or get loose when typing.
Recommended: Yes. The price isn't currently listed, so you must judge that yourself, but I found this stand extremely useful, well-ventilated and not prone to tipping or sliding, highly recommend!
