Being Canadian never tastes so good!

When i first purchased this product I was unsure as vanilla is my favourite flavour, however I think it has changed! This flavour has all the flavours of a blueberry cobbler. The blueberries are real, you can taste and feel the crunch of the crust (in the best way possible). My family (who also loves vanilla) really enjoyed it as well. I can envision many evening on the desk having this.

Didn’t get that Canadian vibe

I love myself some ice cream especially on a hot summer day so when @familyrated gave me the chance to try out @breyers blueberry grunt Canadian flavour , I was thrilled.
I also got the chance to try out the new Breyers Canadian dessert collection in flavour blueberry grunt which was not familiar to me but would be to Atlantic Canadian. This was a light ice cream and had a blueberry swirl with a crumble bites mixed in. Although I did enjoy it, I didn’t enjoy it enough to buy it in the future. I would however be interested in trying the other flavours available.

Great blueberry flavour!

As an East Coaster, this has amazing blueberry flavour! The swirls of blueberry were perfectly balanced with the classic vanilla ice cream. The pastry pieces were a good size and there were plenty in the ice cream, but it would have been nice if they were a little sweeter. Overall, the ice cream was sweet and creamy and perfect for a hot summer day!

I received this ice cream for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Breyers and Family Rated Club #gotitfree. To start I just want to say how much I love the idea and branding of this entire line; having a bunch of Canadian dessert flavored ice creams that are also made in Canada is awesome and I can't wait to try them all. I didn't know what Blueberry Grunt was before I tried this but it's basically a blueberry cobbler from the east coast of Canada. The blueberry in the ice cream is actually mixed in with vanilla so it is perfectly balanced and sweet without being overwhelming. Also love the texture the pastry pieces provide. Overall, a very yummy experience.

The perfect flavour combination

I tried the blueberry grunt ice cream. I absolutely loved how light and sweet it was. It wasn't overpowering, wasn't too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth) but I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect combination. I definitely reccomend this ice cream and give it a 10/10.

Love it!

I love this ice cream, especially when there’s different texture in it. The cookie bites are sooo good, and the blueberry has a chewy jam texture. Everything together is just perfect!

Oh Emmm GEEE!!!

I had the pleasure of trying Breyer's Blueberry Grunt ice cream and for once I'm speechless!!

I found out the back story of why they call it Blueberry Grunt. There is a Canadian East Coast dessert that consists of tea biscuit dumplings cooked in blueberries that famously originated in Atlantic Canada but is now a favourite across the country.

The name is said to come from the "grunting" that blueberries make when they cook. Well, who would've thunk it?!

This flavour has a very tantalizing texture with blueberry swirls throughout the ice cream. Chunks of pastry and their famous vanilla ice cream, too.

It's the best of both worlds! Although, this flavour goes great with any fruit pies, as well.

I give this flavour 5 stars!!

It has a perfect balance of vanilla light ice cream and swirls of blueberries that melt in your mouth with crispy pastry pieces that deliver the ultimate pleasurable experience. Loved it!

I loved Breyers Canadian Dessert, Blueberry Grunt! On first glance I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting more blueberry streaks in the ice cream, like traditional blueberry ripple. However, after my first bite I realized there was tons of sweet blueberry flavour and the cake part of the grunt was amazing! The grunt was a bit crunchy, not soggy, and had a great taste too. My only wish was that the packaging was larger, the blueberry grunt only comes in a 1.41 L container, which is a bit small for the price. That said I will watch for sales and buy this treat again! #BreyersCanadianDesserts
