Didn’t get that Canadian vibe

I love myself some ice cream especially on a hot summer day so when @familyrated gave me the chance to try out @breyers blueberry grunt Canadian flavour , I was thrilled.
I also got the chance to try out the new Breyers Canadian dessert collection in flavour blueberry grunt which was not familiar to me but would be to Atlantic Canadian. This was a light ice cream and had a blueberry swirl with a crumble bites mixed in. Although I did enjoy it, I didn’t enjoy it enough to buy it in the future. I would however be interested in trying the other flavours available.

Not really Blueberry Flavoured Ice cream

This ice cream is ok. Not great. It doesn't have a blueberry taste. More raspberry like. I found it too sweet, possibly because of the 'jam' like contents in the ice cream. I do like the 'grunt' part of the ice cream. I however thought it would be more crunchy like a nut instead of a soft pastry. Based on the price point, I would not purchase it again. For a family of 6, this ice cream finished after '2 sittings' which is not that affordable. If the price point was more realistic like $3, then I would purchase it again.

Nanaimo bar flavour instead

Wasn't able to find blueberry grunt at the grocery store so I tried Nanaimo bar instead. It was a little too sweet for my tastes. Looking forward to try the blueberry grunt next time I see it at the grocery store.

Blueberry grunt ice cream

The name is not appealing and I did have to Google it to see why it was called that. This ice cream is interesting. I enjoyed the vanilla ice cream and the blueberry swirl in it. But the pastry bits were a tad soggy and were not the most appealing texture. If it was just the vanilla and the blueberry then it would’ve been delicious. This ice cream concept though would make a great ice cream bar.

I really like this ice cream. The main problem is that it is very hard to avail the flavours in store, i have literally hunted 4 -5 stores just to get this ice cream.

Really wanted to love this

I love blueberries and was really hoping for an intense blueberry taste. The ice cream was good but not the best, my suggestion would be to increase the blueberries in the ice cream. It is Breyers and I love that it is Canadian.

Not for me.

I recently had the opportunity to try this ice cream free through Butterly. It' isn't something O would normally buy, but I was happy to give it a go.
Unfortunately, I really didn't care for it much. I found the blueberry flavour a bit lacking, and it just seemed overly sweet to me.

Blueberry grunt Ice Cream

I really did enjoy the gooey blueberry in the ice cream but I didn’t like the pie crust, I feel the pie crust could have used a bit more flavour as it was like chunks of baked flour chunks

Decent Adaptation

A nice adaptation of a Canadian dessert. The blueberry ribbon is a nice touch, but the bluberry flavour could be a bit stronger, and less sweet. The crumble bits are too chunky and dry, and I can do without them in this ice cream. Perhaps a gahram cracker version would work better.
