Tastes pretty good, but I would much rather opt for a frozen yogurt. Same/better taste but much less calories

I love Breyers Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream and I am not a crazy chocolate fan (really I'm not). The flavour is amazing. It has a dark chocolate flavour and is super smooth. The chocolate flavour is intense and you don't need a lot of ice cream to hit your chocolate limit or pay load. It is a definite treat and I have recommended this one to all of my friends. The one down side is that the chocolate colouring (?) of the ice cream really stains if you get it on you.

If your not a huge chocolate fan, I wouldnt bother!

Sooooo yummy and the double churn gives it a way creamier taste and feel! It is by far my favourite ice cream and isnt so bad on price at Superstore in BC canada!

This is the only double churn flavor I like mainly because the texture is much more dense. The flavor is good, has a stronger chocolate flavor then your average ice cream. I did like this ice cream and would re-purchase it, it's definitely a good choice since Breyers goes on sale so often.

It wasn't extra creamy or chocolaty. I find Ben&Jerry;more chocolaty. but still food ice cream.

Oh my gosh this ice cream is an incredible hit of chocolate! The taste is so smooth and creamy, and you don't need much in your bowl to satisfy that chocolate craving!

Breyers is a personal favorite brand of mine and this Double Churn Chocolate is a great addition. It's super creamy and has a very rich but not over powering chocolate essence. Highly recommend!

if you love chocolate, you will love this ice cream. Not too sweet and nice smooth texture.
My kids even like it. And it is dark chocolate.

I am not a big fan of ice cream, I prefer dark chocolate to any other treats. However I gave it a try...it was awesome, not too sweet and sooo meltey, I just loved it. I don't have to opt out of my family 'ice cream nights' anymore.

P.S. Try it with some fresh strawberry on the top. Royal dessert!
