Almost better than "real" ice cream

I didn't know what to expect from a low calorie ice cream but I was hoping for the best. I will say that I am pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture of the Breyers delight cookies and cream. It was absolutely delicious with more than enough cookie flavour and crunch in there in a very satisfying vanilla ice cream. I wish the bucket was a little bigger though. I think I will purchase this again in the future though just so I don't feel so guilty when I eat ice cream :)

Move over Ben and Jerry’s!!

I picked up the new Breyer’s Delights Cookies and Cream at my local Independence and brought it over to my friends house for a girl night. We both dug in and couldn’t believe the entire PINT was only 360 calories!! This does NOT taste like a “light” ice cream or have any stevia aftertaste. We ate the whole thing (I would have gladly eaten it all myself) and kept wondering how they made something so delicious without the guilt; truly a girl’s best friend. There were plenty of cookie chunks that resembled Oreos ... this was probably my favourite part. I am huge B&J;fan and will eat the entire pint in one sitting so it always a risk bringing ice cream home. I know what I’ll be buying from now on, though! My only suggestion is that I would like to see more flavours come Out, #gotitfree

Wow! It actually tastes GREAT!

I was a bit nervous about testing this product out (I received it free for review purposes) tho I love the idea of a “healthy treat” I’ve been disappointed in the past. This is something I see myself indulging in!!! Great work breyers you made a calorie wise high protein ice cream that tastes great. Don’t get me wrong it’s not as decadent as “regular” ice cream, but it tast a really really good!!!
I highly recommend this product! I can’t wait to try the other flavours!!

The only downside is I had a very hard time finding it and it was priced a little high but I’d still pay that amount for this product!

BREYERS DELIGHTS COOKIES & CREAM taste amazingly good!! Was skeptical at first especially with low calories usually means the taste is a miss not this one.

Cookie and cream and yum, oh my!

I was lucky to be a part of the Breyers campaign and purchased the cookies and cream flavor. In terms of flavor, this was exactly what you’re hoping for in an ice cream. A sweet, creamy vanilla taste with pieces of cookies. It’s actually quite similar to an Oreo blizzard. The downside? I wish there was larger pieces and more of the cookies. Secondly, without being on sale, it’s around $7 which is pricey for a small container of ice cream, especially when you can purchase larger containers with comparable or similar in healthy nutritional information. Also, while I personally don’t mind sweeteners, some might be put off by the use of Stevia. While I may not buy this because of the price, I would certainly recommend this. It tastes good, it’s relatively ‘good for you’ in terms of frozen desserts and you don’t feel guilty if you do end up eating it all.

Great Healthier ice cream!

I really enjoyed this new Ice Cream from Breyers that I got to try Free thanks to Chick Advisor! I love that there are such few calories for the WHOLE container! I will definitely be purchasing this one again and I love the large amounts of cookies that were in the ice cream too!

I received this product to test and review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I tried the Cookies and Cream flavour, but I think I need to go back for the others! It’s soooooo good! I can’t believe the low calorie content compared to normal ice cream, thankfully it is though, cause I went back for seconds!! You definitely don’t have to be guilty about this dessert. The texture is so creamy and it’s not overly sweetened. Tastes just like cookies and cream! I love the protein content too! Can put it in shakes or have some ice cream as a post workout snack ;) My husband loved it too... I didn’t tell him it was diet and he didn’t notice at all!

Better than Halotop??!?

So clearly this came out as a competitor to the much anticipated Halotop coming to Canada. I have tried out 4 or 5 flavours of Halotop before testing the Breyers delight.

Obviously these are very similar ice creams, but I found the Breyers to have a much nicer, thicker consistency, and that can make a world of difference between it tasting like 'REAL' ice cream and 'diet' ice cream.

10/10 would eat again.

Great low cal option

I received this product free of charge for my honest opinion.
I had the opportunity to try the cookies and cream flavour. I really enjoyed it! I did find it a little less creamy then other ice creams I have tried. This one seemed more of a in the middle of a gelato and a traditional ice cream. The cookies and cream flavour was nice. I think it would be nice to have a few more cookies in the iceceam but I did really enjoy it none the less. My only “con” of this would be the price. $6.99 for a very small container? I’m not positive that I would purchase it at that price. On sale... yes, but at it’s full price.. probably not.
