Cookie and cream and yum, oh my!

I was lucky to be a part of the Breyers campaign and purchased the cookies and cream flavor. In terms of flavor, this was exactly what you’re hoping for in an ice cream. A sweet, creamy vanilla taste with pieces of cookies. It’s actually quite similar to an Oreo blizzard. The downside? I wish there was larger pieces and more of the cookies. Secondly, without being on sale, it’s around $7 which is pricey for a small container of ice cream, especially when you can purchase larger containers with comparable or similar in healthy nutritional information. Also, while I personally don’t mind sweeteners, some might be put off by the use of Stevia. While I may not buy this because of the price, I would certainly recommend this. It tastes good, it’s relatively ‘good for you’ in terms of frozen desserts and you don’t feel guilty if you do end up eating it all.

I received this product to test and review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I tried the Cookies and Cream flavour, but I think I need to go back for the others! It’s soooooo good! I can’t believe the low calorie content compared to normal ice cream, thankfully it is though, cause I went back for seconds!! You definitely don’t have to be guilty about this dessert. The texture is so creamy and it’s not overly sweetened. Tastes just like cookies and cream! I love the protein content too! Can put it in shakes or have some ice cream as a post workout snack ;) My husband loved it too... I didn’t tell him it was diet and he didn’t notice at all!

Better than Halotop??!?

So clearly this came out as a competitor to the much anticipated Halotop coming to Canada. I have tried out 4 or 5 flavours of Halotop before testing the Breyers delight.

Obviously these are very similar ice creams, but I found the Breyers to have a much nicer, thicker consistency, and that can make a world of difference between it tasting like 'REAL' ice cream and 'diet' ice cream.

10/10 would eat again.

J'ai reçu un coupon de la part de ChickAdviasor pour essayer la nouvelle crème glacé de Breyers à la saveur de Cookie & Cream. Je tiens à vous dire que j'ai vraiment eu un coup de coeur avec celle-ci. Elle et délicieuse et parfaite sucré et crémeuse. Moi qui n'est pas trop fan de cette saveur je l'ai adoré! I love ice cream so I was excited to be picked to review Breyers Cookie & Cream. It’s a good thing that it was free because Loblaws was selling it for (over) $6. The ice cream was good. I didn’t have any issues with the ice cream separating or looking weird. The Ice cream taste was good, no chunks of cookies, but I guess it lowers calories not having chunks. ;) Even though it is mentioned there’s protein in it, it’s not much so I wouldn’t buy it to have more proteins.

BREYERS DELIGHTS COOKIES & CREAM taste amazingly good!! Was skeptical at first especially with low calories usually means the taste is a miss nit this one. Texture is great like any cookies and cream out on the market. Love that it's low calories especially when I am trying to get beach body back but crave ice cream. Love the packaging simple. Would recommend this to everyone who is watching calories but crave ice cream. This is amazing!!

I wanted to like it

I received this free voucher from chick advisor and redeemed asap because I was very excited to try it. Thankfully,the exact flavour I was requested to review was what already appealed to me by name. I initially tried out two scoops the first time using the cute scoop that was sent to me.

I loved the smooth taste and how it melts on the tongue. I also loved the texture. I loved that it has a good amount of protein and contains skimmed milk which is so much better than lactose milk for me. However,i did suffer abit of stomach cramps, twice upon each intake. I also didn't like the after taste over time.

Overall,i like the nutritional content and the taste but I doubt I will be repurchasing it again due to my stomach reaction.

My favourite ice cream flavour, with less calories!

This was great!
I loooove cookies and cream ice cream but i dont eat a lot of it because of the fact that it's not so great for your summer body lol but this was actually super low calories so I didn't feel bad about indulging!
I received this product free to try out from Chickadvisor, but I definitely will repurchase it and try some of the other flavors. The taste is not compromised with the lower cals which is something we all can appreciate!

Wow! Cette crème glacée est tout simplement délicieuse, elle est savoureuse, tout en étant pas trop sucré. J'ai adorée cette crème glacée, alors c'est sur et certain que je vais en racheter, je vais même essayer les autres saveurs. Mon seul point faible... Le pot est trop petit pour ce délicieux dessert glacé!

Un goût très franc et une texture onctueuse

Ce produit est d’une très grande qualité, le goût est excellent et la texture est riche. Il contient beaucoup moins de calories qu’une crème glacée équivalente, ce qui est un plus. Elle est annoncée comme aillant plus de protéines, mais je trouve que c’est négligeable comparé à de la crème glacée d’autres marques. Comme elle est riche, on peut se contenter d’un plus petit bol, mais son prix est très élevé vu le format de 500ml. Elle est donc très bonne, mais trop chère
