Would Like to try the other flavours for sure!

I just tried this and I have to say it was good. Did I find it to be the best ice cream, I have ever tasted? No. But for the amount of calories you expect there to be little or no flavour. This new Breyers delights Vanilla Bean, does well, taste like vanilla ice cream. So it does have that going for it. I'm not much of a vanilla ice cream person, unless I have chocolate syrup covering the majority of it, but I was still happy to have the chance to try this.

Another thing it has going for it is 280 calories per PACK, which is 500mL. I don't count calories but I'm thinking that's not so bad, right? Also it contains 16g of protein per pack as well, if your into that. And then finally it has a logo (so must be true) "Diary Farmers of Canada Quality Milk". Whoop whoop. Lets keep it in Canada.

Price wise for a 500mL, small tube it was around $5. So price compared to other bigger containers, not so great but if you are looking for maybe a slightly healthy alternative then this might work for you. Would I get this again? Probably not this particular flavour, but I wouldn't mind trying Cookies & Cream @ 360 calories, and/or Creamy Chocolate @ 280 calories.

Now another little turn off and this isn't the fault of the actual product itself but I had to go to 4 stores to until I found this, so it may be a hunt if you do decided to give this a go.

Good ice cream substitute

I was sent a coupon for this product to review (#gotitfree) from Chick Advisor. This product is pricey for the size, but it's a premium product and aligned with other similar products. I like the appearance, you can see visible vanilla bean pieces. The texture was nice, not icy. It definitely wasn't as creamy as other ice creams but it's better than many "light" ice creams. The vanilla flavour was ok, could have been stronger. The addition of chocolate sauce really made it delicious! Next time I will try cookies and cream. Overall, this product is a great substitute for regular ice cream, without all the calories.

Got it free to try! I am a long time fan of Breyers! So, I had high expectations for this ice cream and it did not disappoint. The flavor was on point and the texture was creamy and rich. Loved it and will be trying the other flavors too!

Very good quality vanilla

I received this product to review for free through ChickAdvisor. I loved how strong the vanilla bean flavour is with this ice cream, you don't lose any flavour with it being a lower calorie count. I am looking forward to trying other flavours and seeing if they are as good. I have already recommended this to a few friends and family members and highly recommend that anyone looking for vanilla bean ice cream give it a shot!

A must buy!

I was delighted to have the opportunity to try the Vanilla Bean flavour of Breyers Delights ice cream for free thanks to ChickAdvisor. The flavour is delicious and you definitely cannot tell that it is low in calories, which is always a bonus! You can feel free to indulge without the guilt. The price is amazing and I can't wait to try the other flavours available!

J'avais peur que ce produit soit fade et goûte l'edulcorant comme plusieurs produit alléger mais heureusement pour moi ce n'est pas le cas !  Une bonne crème glacée onctueuse . La texture est un peu différente des crème glacée '' normal '' mais j'ai tout de même bien apprécié.

280 calories et 16 grammes de protéines par contenant. On peu ce gâter sans ce sentire coupable. Par contre j'ai trouver le prix un peu dispendieux ( 7,99 $ )

Je ne croit pas racheter la saveur vanille puisque ce n'est pas ma saveur préféré dans la vie. Mais j'ai bien l'intention d'essayer les deux autre saveur (( chocolat et biscuit et crème ))

Guilty pleasure

I love this. I can eat the whole tub of ice cream it tasted amazing and it didn't put me a billion calories over! I also love that there is 16g or protein. The price of it not on sale(8$) scared me a little but I'm sure on sale it'll be worth every penny.

Delicious!

I was a little skeptical when I read that it was a "frozen dairy dessert" instead of just ice cream, but it actually surprised me. I love the taste and texture and will definitely be purchasing this in the future. #gotitfree

It will do!

I was given the opportunity to taste test for free the new Breyers Delight Vanilla Bean frozen desserts. I'll have to say it tasted nice and light. It was most definitely not as creamy as your typical Breyers double churned ice cream but it didn't bother me at all. Just the way it was hit the spot for me. Would be perfect with a warm brownie! It had a nice texture that reminded me a little bit of a sorbet but slightly creamier than that. I do appreciate that it's got less calories per serving for sure. I would consider buying it again if it was on sale and I had a coupon because the price point at $6.99 is a lot over my budget for the size it came in. It wouldn't be worth it for me at that price.

Not for me

First, it took me 8 stores to find this product! This ice cream is not very popular and I wouldn’t want to search that long for an ice cream. At first the ice cream was very tasty. I enjoyed the texture and taste. It was creamy and lovely. But after I finished eating I had this horrible taste in my mouth. Like that taste you get when you drink diet pop. A fake sugar taste. This after taste lasted a long time and was very unpleasant for me. I wouldn’t buy this product again.
