I was floored by the price
Bryers has never really been my favorite ice cream brand because of the very unnatural feel it leaves in my mouth. I was given this vanilla cupcake flavor to try and I must say it's pretty good! I dont find it has that weird texture that I associate with breyers and it definitely tastes like cupcakes! The only thing that turned me off was the price! 6.99 for 500ml seemes a but steep for me
I could not find in stores
I would love to tell you all about this ice cream however I was not able to try it. I looked I'm many different stores for this product but had absolutely no luck
Two words for this particular flavour EPIC FAIL .
I couldn’t WAIT to try out Breyer’s new Breyer’s Delights Vanilla Cupcake but if bite #1 wasn’t bad enough; bite #2 was a mixture of the horrible aftertaste still lingering from bite #1 and the strange flavour hybrid of a sugar-free cupcake and artificial sweeteners. I am usually a huge cake flavour fan but if you want my honest opinion I did not like this flavour at all. That being said the texture was really creamy and thick as well as the price cheaper than brands like Ben&Jerry;’s which is a bonus. I purchased the Carmel Chocolate Brownie flavour to give Breyer’s a chance to redeem themselves and it was delicious ! Overall I would recommend the PRODUCT but would highly recommend to avoid this flavour at all costs !!!
Forgot to add that I #gotitfree to try from ChickAdvisor- Thanks for the opportunity !
Tasty but Extremely overpriced!
Decent flavour. Creamy. But extremely over priced for the size of the container. It was also extremely hard to find in store and it took us over a week to find a store that carried it! Would never pay or recommend a friend pay $8.49 plus tax. It tasted like any other ice cream.
Not bad
I got to try out Breyers delights vanilla cupcake for free. When I first opened it the texture of the ice cream looked similar to the inside of an actual cupcake, fluffy and moist. It tastes pretty good, has a strong vanilla taste to it, which I liked. I didn’t really care too much for the sprinkles, but I guess they added it in there to imitate like you are eating a cupcake. Overall it was okay, but I don’t know if I would buy this again because I didn’t really like the extra additives they added to the ice cream. If you don’t really care too much about that stuff then go for it, if so, then I would suggest finding another brand with higher quality ingredients!
Less guilt... but less satisfaction!
I got the opportunity to #tryitfree with ChickAdvisor and honestly I can say that even though this ice cream with less guilt and a more health conscious option.. I'd rather live a little and go all out! This ice cream was smooth and had a very light/airy texture; the flavour was not bad at all.. just like a real cupcake! With the price being quite high, size and flavour overall.. regular ice cream will still be my go-to.
Vanilla cupcake icecream!
I tried the Breyers delights Vanilla cupcake icecream for free from Chick Advisor. I was pretty excited to try this as icecream is one of my favorite treats! The flavor was pretty good, not overly sweet yet sweet enough you don't realize it only has 80 calories in a serving. The icecream was visually appealing and had the aromatic smell of vanilla cake. The texture was ok too, but not as creamy as I thought. My only big issue was the cost, at nearly $9 for a small tub it's not something I would likely purchase in the future.
Not worth the calories
I don't often enjoy writing negative reviews, but I have to be honest. At first, I was assigned Raspberry Fudge, but after 5 shoppers trips I reached out to you guys and you thankfully allowed me to switch flavours as no one had what I was assigned. The last location I went to had other flavours not on the list and this Vanilla CupCake. The first time I tasted it, I almost spat it out. But to be fair I had gum in my mouth so I'm thinking that offset the taste. I decided to try it again yesterday with my 4-year-old son. He thought it was ok - he really loved the sprinkles, and for me, I felt it lacked flavour. The vanilla wasn't strong enough and it really seemed to have a weird icy texture not like ice cream we are used to. I'm guessing it’s because it’s a lower calorie dessert. The reason for my middle of the road rating, is that I really don't think its worth $7.99. I wonder if the other flavours are better? #GotItFree #tryBreyersdelights
A bit bland for me
I was excited to try this vanilla cupcake ice cream from Breyers.
But I found it lacking in flavor and the one I got had ice crystals in it. It left a film in my mouth that was not pleasant. I will not be purchasing this again and would not recommend it. I did receive this product free to try and I am glad I did because its a bit expensive.
Not what I hoped for
I received the Breyers delights vanilla cupcake dessert for free to review.
I was excited to try the low cal dessert. It was like a sherbet consistency with vanilla cupcake pieces in it. I get that it's not ice cream so it wouldn't be "smooth" like regular yummy vanilla Breyers but it seemed grainy. The product contains Stevia and while I normally don't mind stevia, this product left an aftertaste.
